I got this book before going to Thailand. It is very helpful, it has pictures and very useful information. For example, it says if the places have restroom, what’s on the table, specialties, etc. Overall, very helpful and fun to read.

Great gift book for someone traveling to Thailand who likes good food! Travel books are rarely useful these days with the internet at our fingertips, but this is an excellent resource for someone who wants to know more than just the tourist spots to eat.

The descriptions keep using the word "recipes" which led me to believe this was a book of recipes. Nope. This is a beautiful, interesting, exhaustively-detailed guidebook for finding street food around Bangkok. Only a small handful of actual recipes. Having been to Bangkok, having eaten and loved the streetfood, having found more streetfood than I could possibly ever eat without a guidebook -- I just want to be able to recreate dishes at home, and this didn't help. If you're like me, this isn't your book. If you're headed to BKK for the first time and want to know where to go and what exciting options await you, get this book.

Everything you ever wanted to know about street food in Thailand - and even more! Very much enjoyed reading this book and plan to have it with me as a guide when I'm in Thailand.

I didn't actually use this, I bought it for someone else....all I can say is that they had a great trip and came back alive and well.

My friend who I bought this for absolutely loved it! She said it had all the best food truck places and the reviews were on point!

On my trip to Thailand recently I never used this book. Although a handsome guide I found many of the recommendations contained items I wasn't interested in (products containing blood, etc). This book just wasn't for me.
