nothing but HAVOC
I purchased this Tenpoint Havoc Crossbow a few weeks ago. To date I have been able to get 16 practice shoots off. I got one shot off initially before I had to send it back the first time as the sled locked up and would not descend all the way to grab the string (see horizontal bow photo). Apparently the strap that retracts the string got wound up in the cocking gears. Tenpoint fixed it at no cost and I received it back. I tried it again and was able to get 12 shots off. Again, several malfunctions with the cocking device/sled. My last two shots blew the nocks off the bolts and I couldn't get a group smaller than a couple inches at 20 yds. I sent it back a second time. A rep called and told me that I should not let the sled free fall on to the string. That I should manually move the sled by grasping the bolt on the side of the sled. Ok..makes sense. Tenpoint replaced the nocks on all the bolts from plastic to aluminum but did no mention anything about the accuracy problem. I received it back a second time and tried it again. The very first time that I released the sled holding the bolt it went down about 1/3 of the way and stopped (see vertical bow photo). I was able to retract it and try it again. This time 5 malfunctions and only 3 shots before I decided this is not the bow for me. Totally unreliable with malfunction a shot or two and another malfunction. When the sled doesn't travel a far as it is suppose to it means you need to retract the sled and start over. While it may be silent, it takes a minute to do that. This is unacceptable for a hunting bow. I tried chatting with Tenpoint. I was given the instructions on releasing the sled again. I've been through that and have sent it back twice and the issue was not resolved. Tenpoint reps were helpful but there is a serious flaw with this retractable sled design in my opinion, that they have not fixed. I ended up contacting Amazon and the rep who spoke with me understood my unhappiness and agreed to allow me to return it. I hope that others that read this do not get into the situation I have been in with this very expensive crossbow. My advice..find a different crossbow as the name HAVOC is just that..a lot of aggravation and HAVOC.

Awesome!
The Havoc is a machine! Very nice shooting and it is fast! Some have complained that they think the cocking and de-cocking is too complicated. Trust me it is not! very easy and quick to learn. Just make sure you watch the video on how to 'properly' do it on the Tenpoint website. There are many YouTube videos in which they do not do it correctly. I use the Spyder target which stops the arrows with plenty of shaft left. Stagger your shots around the bag to avoid too many hits in the same hole or, the bolts will drive in deeper. Now, for the bad. Three of the 16" Tenpoint bolts that came with the Havoc are junk. Unusable for hunting as they will not group worth crap even at 20 yards. Two of the bolts are spot on and one other is good enough (~1 1/2" off) up to 60 yards (furthest i have shot so far). This is unacceptable considering these bolts are over $100 for six of them. The 3 bolts that were bad for me would not lay flat on the rail with visible daylight between the bolt and the rail. I believe this is due to slightly the nocks being slightly offset when they were glued on the receivers (guess on my part). Other than the bolt issue I highly recommend the Havoc.

It's broke doesn't work
Crossbow was $2500. And won't even work, won't cock and won't grab string

Needs work
First time cocking it got hung up on the dry fire inhibitor. While I admit i was not fully versed on how this crossbow worked, I dont feel the system should be so vulnerable. Once its cocked this way, it has to be placed on a crossbow vice to clear it.
