Urth Lens Mount Adapter: Compatible for Nikon F Lens to Nikon Z Camera Body

I was shocked how well it worked on using my old Pentax lens on my Nikon K5II. It was a little tight to mount on the K5II but everything was snug and no looseness on mounting at all. I am very happy with it.

The adapter works as it should but there’s some inconsistency between the Z mount side and the OM mount side in terms of fit. The Z mount side attaches to the camera effortlessly, but it feels like there’s a little bit of play. The OM mount side does not attach smoothly at all. It’s rough and takes more effort than I expected. Still though, these are mostly fit and finish issues that didn’t really affect the performance of the adapter. It adapts OM mount vintage lenses to my Nikon Z6 camera pretty well with no light leaks or other issues. I just wish there was a little more attention to detail with the fit.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this adapter for my Nikon z5. I have several F mount lenses that I really want to use from my F2 to this Mirrorless. When it arrived the sticker seals on the side of the packaging was already broken and when I looked at the actual adapter it had minor scratches on it indicating that it was already used. Nonetheless I was still willing to try it on my Z5 only to then find that , it does not mount at all. It does not lock and the only orientation that it fits best, is not locked and has a gap as shown on the video. You are better off just purchasing a different third party adapter or just purchasing the more costly FTZ adapter from Nikon.

I paid a bit more for this as it looked better made than very cheap ones and found it fits my Nikon Z6 body perfectly. Nice and tight but not too tight, looks good too.I have tried two old Leica folding lenses (extended only), and a couple old Canon M39's. Focus allowed to go slightly past infinity using quite distant targets, slightly off focus scale at closer distances but not enough to throw off using DOF scale for accurate depth. For instance to get good focus at ten feet the distance scale on lenses read maybe 10' 4-6" roughly.When lenses mounted the top is not centered but down about about 30 degrees to left so must turn camera to read distance accurately so minor inconvenience there. Well made cardboard case to store in.

I bought a new Nikon Z50 DSLR and it’s great, but the macro lenses are out of my price range. I was delighted to find this adapter that allows me to use my Sigma glass lens. Obviously doesn’t allow autofocus as the glass lens and the Nikon can’t communicate. This adapter was just what I needed for taking photos of the birds and squirrels at my feeders. It’s great-quality, heavy and sturdy. If you have older lenses and want to use them with a new camera, I highly recommend these.

Just buy the fotasy and save money

No issues. Works properly. Well packed.
