This item comes with the Microderm GLO MINI unit, a charging cord and pod, a zip-seal plastic baggie full of little round filters, two attachments with an abrasive surface for actually performing the microderm abrasion process on your skin, two suction head attachments (I've never used these), a cleaning brush to scrub off the attachments after each use, a serum I honestly haven't used either, a comprehensive information pamphlet, and a handy little drawstring sack to place the unit in when not in use or when traveling.I have sensitive combination skin. Also, for the record, I'm in my late 20s, so other than using sunscreen, I'm not really targeting age-related issues yet in my skincare routine. Yet.I am very picky about my skincare routine, by the way. I was cursed with perfect, flawless, blemish-free "glass skin" as an adolescent. It was my best feature. This changed in my mid-20s, but due to skin concerns just generally not being on my radar my whole life, I struggled for several years to figure out what to do about it. I've tried product after product, I've seen doctors, spent countless money, done hours and hours of painstaking research, changed my diet, bought every kind of pillow case known to man, gone through round after round of trial and error - I mean, I've suffered for the routine that I finally have in place now. Suffered!All this to say: it's not easy for me to trust new products. And full disclosure, by the way: my skin still to this day gives me trouble sometimes. In my experience, and my experience ONLY, this product is NOT a cure-all if you have problem skin (meaning prone to breakouts, hormonal, dry in some places and...*not* in others. You know. Skin problems.)What I *can* say is this product has REALLY improved my skin's health and texture to a degree that would have been impossible without it. By itself, it probably would not have fixed my skin. But used in tandem with a carefully curated skincare routine, it really has leveled up my whole strategy in a way that other products simply can't do, that I've ever seen.It's worth noting that I live in an area with really poor air quality due to climate and high polution, and extremely hard water as well. This is in addition to everyday dirt or whatever that the average person would normally encounter, plus makeup, plus sunscreen, and ugh. I mean, it's gross. And I've discovered since purchasing this item that even the best cleanser can only do so much.I use the Microderm GLO about once or twice per week as needed to physically exfoliate my face. It's something I actually look forward to doing now, because my skin feels so CLEAN afterwards. I honestly cannot explain the feeling, the level of cleanliness I'm referring to. Like, you can just FEEL it, how clean every pore on your face is. It's luxurious.Since I started using this product, I have noticed that my skin looks more glowy and has a better overall texture. I also seem to suffer much less frequently from clogged pores, and when I do get breakouts, they're not nearly as severe as before, and they heal much more quickly, too.

Literally cleared my pores out. I usually manually remove but this saves so much time. Redness is only natural bc it is a strong suction so it’ll be gone by the next morning.

The number of obviously solicited, vapid 5* reviews of this product actually work against it- I considered but then pulled it out of my cart a while back. Then, I got a few hours of quality time with a 10x magnifying mirror, became utterly horrified, came back to look at blackhead suckers, saw this on a lightning deal, and decided to take the plunge in spite of the "D" fakespot review rating (if you don't have this extension go get it now).I got it last week and so far have used it on myself and my husband twice. Here's my take:Packaging: Its nicely packaged, I am actually going to continue to store it in the original packaging due to the fact that there are so many little parts in it. It comes with the device, 3 tips, filters, a charger, and comes with a complete charge.How it works: We followed the instructions and used the larger diamond tip on the main areas of our face and the small tip on our noses. Pulling skin tight is a definite recommendation or you can end up with suctiony spots as we did the first time. I also recommend keeping skin damp to allow the device to glide a little more easily. Also, use after a shower or at least put a warm cloth over your face before you get rolling...probably obvious to everyone but if you're new to pore extraction its a must.Results: We are SUPER impressed with the results. I've had professional microdermabrasion sessions- my husband hasn't - but he couldn't believe how much his blackheads on his nose were essentially gone after 2 treatments. For both of us, our skin looks and feels smoother. I even have started to notice a reduction in sun damage and my pores seem smaller. I think it helps make other products we use like Vitamin C and HGF serums work better.As long as it holds up (see the reviews where it supposedly craps out) I think it was a really good buy at the lightning deal of $80. At the normal price of $130 it seems like a fair value.

So let me just say, this is not a tool that you can just slide your face on and expect it to do nothing to your face. The suction is almost too powerful especially if you have sensitive skin. If you do not open up the pores of your skin with steamed water or put a lot of that collagen serum on, you will have broken capillaries and this will leave your face with bruises for at least 2 days. Now with that being said, my face did get use to the suction after picking this product up again a week later and it truly smoothed out my skin BUT I used the lightest suction and went in one direction. I will also say that it didn't pick up all the dirt from my pores, in fact I found that using a Clarisonic brush did just as good of a job removing my blackheads compared to this. But once your skin gets use to this product; serums and creams will absorb so well into your skin so well. In face I noticed a difference in how radiant and young my skin looked. So I gave it 4 stars because it is a great product for the price you pay and some people will actually really like it.

There's only thing I'm not liking about this product - and that is the lack of movement of the head of the device - the end that makes contact with your skin. If the tip vibrated just slightly - providing just enough friction to really lift off dead skin cells - it would be far more effective. As it is - it depends on the pressure you apply - and is basically as effective as rubbing your skin with a fingernail file (just as a crude example). Other than this one suggestion, I would say it is an excellent abrasion device that does what it states - and that is to lift dead skin cells, with slight suctioning. It DOES leave my skin extremely soft - and clean feeling. The suctioning isn't perfect - you do have to go over your face with a wash cloth to remove skin that was left behind - but - I still recommend this product as a great alternative to an expensive salon visit. Perfect for at-home use.
