Treasury of Magical Tales From Around the World (National Geographic) Hardcover – October 26, 2021

This was a gift for my granddaughter. She is in middle school and is interested in mythology and folklore. This book has entries from many cultures and will make a wonderful addition to her collection.

We loved reading these stories with my 5 year old. Each story is just 3-4 pages, so not too long. This entire series by Napoli and Balit is fantastic. The writing is really excellent and the illustrations are terrific. Some of the pictures in some of the books are just stunning.

Some of the best magical tales come from Egypt and Greece. I was disappointed to not find stories from these two countries. Hoping to find them somewhere else.
