There is so much to like for this pot, first, it's petite, and it's cute, but it is also quite functional. I make a small pitcher of decaf earl gray that makes about 3-4 glasses of perfect cold tea. This teapot holds exactly 5 tea bags in the little chamber, which equals the amount that perfectly brews to go over the ice in my pitcher. Once done, and sweetened to taste, I wash out the teapot and it waits on my stove for the next time. Great things come in small packages, and with glass, there is no better way to keep it clean and no worry about plastic or metal leaching.

I wanted an all glass teapot and infuser for brewing loose leaf and herbal teas, and this is a great and affordable option for personal use (I paid around $20 for the 20.3 oz teapot). It would work fine for two people too. It has a nice traditional design to it, but the all glass construction gives a slightly modern feel. I noticed some design imperfections in terms of symmetry and alignment of the handle and spout, but it is apparently hand-crafted so I'm not surprised. I have absolutely no complaints given the price and its overall performance.Some tips:Pour slowly so that it does not spill out the top, and be careful to secure or remove the lid when pouring to prevent it from popping out by accident. I've had some spills and close calls when in a rush.The infuser is deep but the teapot is relatively wide, so I feel you need to make at least 12 oz to get a decent infusion.The glass infuser has 12 small slits on the bottom for circulation, which isn't ideal but probably necessary to preserve sturdiness. I tend to lift and reset the infuser once or twice during steeping to encourage better circulation.The glass is medium thickness at best, so handle with some caution and care, especially the glass infuser. If you do break the infuser, all is not lost because it will accommodate most generic stainless steel infusers (double check your measurements) although you will not be able to use the lid while steeping.A reminder that this is not double-walled/insulated, so your tea will quickly cool down unless you put it on a low flame, which it is capable of handling.

Love this. Lightweight but sturdy. Easy to clean. No staining. Stays hot for quite awhile. Good choice.

I really like the tea kettle. I wish it was a little bigger. Well it broke and I have to buy another one. I'll get a bigger one this time.

Goodness, what a lovely kettle. Nicely shaped and feels v elegant. However, it seems more for display and tea performances than for actively steeping. When I add my loose teas and water, the water rushes out and then doesn’t seem to spend time actually steeping. The water heats the place where the tea is, but the only time it accesses the tea itself is before it drains. So, it seems good for your short brew teas, none that ask for longer exposure to water. My other issue was the tea getting stuck. I’ve had to use a knife to move tea in order for water to flow.So my opinion is that it’s cute, but not that functional for actually drinking tea regularly.

Im a hot tea lover. Im also a content creator. I wanted to be able to create content of me making herbal teas. This glass tea kettle allowed me to showcase me making tea with style. It's clear glass allowing everyone to see everything. It's also very sturdy, not cheap glass.

Bought this for my teapot. Measured and remeasured before purchasing. My teapot fits snugly on top.However, I believe this is the reason that the flame snuffs out. The holes on the side didn't work to give the flame enough air, if your teapot fits snuggly on top. I'm sure it would work with a much smaller teapot. So buyer beware - your teapot must give clearance on top or maybe curved bottom to maintain a flame. The product is good, but should state the clearance instead of the measurement.

The design is excellent and it's fantastic for making tea. But you have to be very gentle with it. No banging it around. I found out the hard way I was a little too rough and I broke the ball off the lid and cracked the Tea holder. So this is my second teapot. And then I found out that I could order the tea holder and the lid separately from Amazon. Which I did and now I have two nice teapots. If you're gentle with it and hand-washing carefully should last many years. But you can't treat it like a cast-iron skillet.
