Battery works fine, no included tools to get battery out
First off, the first one I got had the wrong tools. The factory seems to have put a phillips end on the tri-wing screwdriver, so I wasn't able to use it. But Amazon sent me a replacement and that one was fine, so I was able to get it apart. If you're having trouble getting the back screws off, that might be the problem.Overall, the battery is fine, it works as expected. Getting the old one out was really a hassle and none of the included tools really did a very good job at it because of the adhesive on the back of the battery. NOTE - do not use any kind of sharp tools on it, I accidentally punctured the old battery and it started smoking, oops. But after fighting with it for a while, I got it out and replaced it. The power connector leads on the new battery I think are a little long, so it didn't want to fit quite right. I had a problem at first where the power connector wouldn't seat right, it kept popping off. But after finessing the wires into place, it stays put now.Overall, nothing wrong with the kit. It comes with most of what you need, just know you might need a few more tools to get that battery out. I ended up using a combination of some flat plastic pry tools and a pliers to get it out.

High Quality. Use isopropyl alcohol
Tools are much higher quality than I expected. Like an IFixIt kit.To remove the adhesive, I recommend jamming the pick and pryer under the battery and carefully dropping isopropyl alcohol in the cracks to loosen the adhesive. Don’t worry, isopropyl alcohol doesn’t damage electronics. Wait until the alcohol does it’s job, and careful keep prying until you get the battery off

Long Lasting Battery!
Ok for my battery reviews, I at least wait a month to even thing about reviewing it. I’ve had this battery for my switch and it hasn’t changed since the day I bought it. It works great.

Not for the light hearted
No instructions on how to do this so I had to watch a YouTube video. FYI: the battery is stuck in place and you’ll need to pry it out of place without damaging anything. Careful of the “oh use rubbing alcohol” because there’s holes at the bottom of the battery box and it’ll leak out. That being said, I did the replacement perfectly and checked my connections… now the screen is completely black and won’t turn on. A total waste of time and money.

This kit and battery worked.
Used to replace a 4 month old dying battery on a Nintendo Switch Lite. The Nintendo Switch Lite was only 4 months old and began to suffer battery failure. This kit allowed removal and replacement of the battery.A word of warning though, and this isn't a reflection on the capabilities of this kit, but Nintendo went overboard with the glue used to hold the battery. In my opinion, they didn't need to use any glue at all. I used 91% isopropyl alcohol in an attempt to loosen the glue (which had been applied to the entire back surface of the battery) with little impact. In the future, if I ever had to do this again, I might risk switching to acetone. I had to apply so much force using the provided pick (thank goodness the kit provided a thick one) that I actually bent the defective battery on removal (see picture).

You can do this DIY project, just go gently.
The tools were useful and the 2x screwdrivers just the right size for the job. I have other tools for similar job to better pry the case apart. The battery is glued solid and only gentle turns of a regular screwdriver helped me get it free. Tools they add to the kit will not do the job. The battery can deform coming out and that is fine. It is bendy but your throwing it away so don't sweat it. I found that this products battery contact point was not as clean as the original and was a bit sloppy with the plastic. That - 1 star otherwise all good when I was done. They do provide an adhesive to use but you have to cut it down to size.

Fixed my dead switch lite
After my switch wouldn’t come back on after not being used for a couple months I lost all hope until my boyfriend mentioned to buy a new battery. This one seemed the best. So I placed my order and anxiously awaited the arrival. I was able to open my switch up and replace the battery, with a little prying, and it came back on right away. Hopefully it works for awhile and now I won’t go months without using it!!! Learned my lesson there.
