It’s wicked!
I used the same manufacturer’s Prep, paint, gloss black backer, and clear coat. I split a single can of paint between two bodies, and I feel it was a mistake. If I do this again, 1 can each of color changing paint and black backer per body. That said, this is wicked stuff. Do your prep work, take your time spraying, follow the instructions, and it’s a project that takes about a week or so.This goes on clear, it kind of surprised me. Do multiple coats until the can’s done, inspect the crevices and hard to reach places. When in the sun, it’s: Purple Blue Green. I don’t really see the orange. It’s a dark purple out of sunlight because of the black backer. A black logo/sticker will not show up well, a white one will really stand out.I’d get this again, but the costs do start to add up. For my level of play, a new body once a year is worth the cost of the paint.Hope this helps in your decision. The truck in the picture is a ZD Racing, ZMT-10, the cheapest brushless I could find at the time in 1/10 scale.

The paint is so beautiful and vibrant but not as much so as is advertised. I am still very happy with the paint and overall impressive color of the paint, but it is not as vibrant as I expected.

Wow, TRY THIS PAINT!
Ok, there is so much that I could say about this paint, but I'll try to keep from turning a review into a book. Description lists four colors, but it doesn't end there. I'm not sure if it's because I used almost the entire contents of the can instead of just three or so coats like some reviewers have suggested, or what but, I walk around the stingray body I sprayed with this stuff and I'm seeing both dark and light shades of blue, green, and purple plus, single shades of gray, brown, gold, teal, violet, as well as black, and I've forgotten some others. There are so many aspects to the look of this car. I've included photos, in an attempt to show what this paint can do, though I seriously doubt that they will do it justice. I'll just close with saying this; it's been close to 2 weeks since I painted this body, and I (literally) still smile everytime I see, or look at it. TRY THIS PAINT! It is nothing short of amazing. p.s. I've had a few considerably hard impacts to this body and NO FLAKING! And the only prep I did on the body before spraying it was to Simply wash it with dish soap, and thoroughly rinse. Awesome, just freaking awesome.

Did not work for me, wish it had :(
I really wanted this paint to work, and given the success of a lot of people in the reviews I was really expecting it to. I tried two different cans, ordering the second one thinking the first was just a dud. I did all the prep work, sanded my piece down, primed, sprayed with gloss black backer, then sprayed this. I used up the entire can on a 12x4" piece and you could not see any of the effect in sunlight, just barely if you shined a flashlight directly at it. I think the cans are probably very hit or miss and I just happened to get two duds from a bad batch, but for the money I wouldn't waste it hoping to get a can that will work. Wish I could get my money back. Went with a Rustoleum color shift paint, it didn't have the orange part of the paint I wanted but it looks amazing and is nearly half the price.
