I own a DDitW emergency sleeping bag that is part of my daily hiking gear. So when I saw this on a Lightning Deal, I picked it up, and am happy I did. Hopefully like my bag I’ll never have to use it.The material seems sturdier than a normal emergency blanket, paracord is included, and it comes in a nice case. Only weighs a few ounces. Sure, it’s nothing but a tube of Mylar, but it’ll do the trick if called on. It’s not a tent, but heck, many through hikers sleep under a tarp, so it’ll provide reasonable protection from the elements if set up properly.Durability will of course be an issue if used often, but I hope to never use it. Overall a good buy and worth a few bucks more than generics.

I just got it and it is small. I think it will serve my purposes great. Very excited to try it out.

This is designed to be used in an emergency situation, I hope not to test it out, but knowing I have it is great.
