Full Soles Rubber Replacement DIY Repair

The soles on my old canvas deck shoes had gone totally smooth making them hazardous to wear. The uppers were fine so glued these on using shoe goo, trimmed the excess and very pleased with the new traction of these soles. Why toss shoes that are perfectly good otherwise? Highly recommend.

This material is on the thicker side and difficultto cut. Possibly why it was sold as "used like new"? Thankfully my foot was smaller than the precut sole and I was still able to still use these. Thus, the cheaper "used like new" price worked for me, however for someone else this may have been an issue as some of the product was cut sorter than the other. With a lot of patience, shoe glue and clamps this product Slerved it's purpose. Time will tell if it is a durable product, but the material is thicker than some of the other soles.

I would recommend some shoe glue to as normal glues have a tendency of not working on shoes. That said this at least doubled my shoes life and as a cart attendant constantly walking on black tap the soles of my shoes go bye extremely fast. I put this on more than 2 months ago and there still going strong. Quick tip I also used those nails you can fire out of those big staplers but I don't think that was needed, also your shoes will probably not look very good after you put them on unless you have some experience with this sort of thing.

These replacement soles are very durable and thick. The material is durable and doesn't cut easily, which is what you want for the soles of your shoes. The only issue I had was with gluing them into my current shoes. I used some very powerful glue, and they are still peeling in certain areas. That may have been because of how I cut and glued them. They have extended the life of my shoes, for which I'm very grateful.

Pretty large. I know you suppose to trim but I was not expecting them to be so large

Tried another brand and the material was more like vinyl and 1/3 the thickness of this one. Just installed on soul and seems very good so far. Will update on where and longevity.

This is avoid cobbler's that are not really found for shoes that you cannot have cobbler's work done anyway.
