Milky Spore Japanese Beetle and Other Beetle Killer, 10 Ounce

We put this in our garden to help deter the Japanese beetles from hatching and to keep the moles from getting to the grubs of the beetles. This worked just as predicted. No grub worms in our garden.

We have a tree line of elms that have to be treated every year to get a handle on Japanese beetles. This product is not harmful to humans or animals. I LIKE THAT! I’m hoping it will last longer than a year. So far our leaves on the trees are filling in nicely

This is easy to sprinkle on your beds and lawns before a rain. It is not a dangerous chemical. The bacteria live in your soil and when the pupae of Japanese Beetles (and other larva) hatch, this bacteria kills them before they mature. It not only puts a good dent in the beetle population next year, but works for years to come without having to reapply. That being said, it may not eliminate all your Japanese beetles, some may migrate into your yard from other areas, but this does make a difference in their numbers and damage.

Worked but only for one season.

Applied in the late summer/fall of 2022 in my garden, planted landscape beds, and my grassy patch. Only a few beetles emerged and my basil wasn't decimated. Will do another application so they know I mean business!I've used milky spore before in a previous garden/ surrounding lawn and it did the job. Happy to see it still works even though I'm in a big townhouse community with lots of neighbors.
