I have wanted this teapot for a while and received it as a Christmas gift. It is truly beautiful and well made. It is ceramic and electric which makes it pretty and easy to use. The ceramic is a beautiful mint/light teal. The base and cord are white with gold trim. The cord is somewhat stiff but I'm hoping it softens with use. Be sure to follow instructions about not letting it run too low of water. The lid is a bit tricky to figure out at first. But is also well made to ensure that it doesn't fall off when pouring. I highly recommend this to upscale your daily cuppa.

I have ordered several of these over the past 4 years. I have owned at least 4 of these Pinky Up tea pots. They are cute and heat up fast but there’s something faulty about these because they don’t last. I bought this last one in March and it’s only the end of April and it already has stopped heating up. Better buy a protection plan!!! I will be buying a different kettle !! Very disappointed !!!!

Although this little kettle looks quite good, there are some design issues that come along with it. The MAX water line is too high, and the kettle will burp and boil over. Also, the lid has no seal and is a loose fit, so when you're boiling the MAX level, it will sputter out of the top. There's also a risk of the lid falling off and breaking when you are pouring your hot water, and a significant risk of hot water spilling out of the top opening with this loose lid issue. A liability for sure. A rubber/silicone seal for the lid, like the more expensive kettles have would solve those problems. Then I would give it 5 stars. Right now, it's a low 3, and all of that is for the aesthetic of the design alone. Adorable to look at on your counter top, but not as well engineered as it should be for its purpose.

Product is beautiful; however, not reliable. It’s been less than a year and from one day to the next it stopped working. I used it daily and was very happy with it until it broke. The issue is that it didn’t last very long.

I have had my kettle for 2 years and it works great! I use it daily!! My only problem is the knob on the lid broke. 😣 I would like to try and get a replacement lid??? Is that possible???

We had ordered this tea kettle two or even three years ago, and were always pleased with it. However, it eventually started having a hard time turning on, and I always had to fix the base before making it work. Eventually, it died on us. We had loved it so much, that we went ahead and ordered a new one.Unfortunately, the new that that came was chipped in a few spots, and had smudges on the outside like it had been used. We returned it, and ordered a new one, but this time in a gray color (last two times we had the green color). Well, the gray one came, but the lid of the kettle was a much darker grey than the actual kettle itself!!! I asked if they could just send a replacement lid, and they couldn’t. I even called the manufacturer themselves, and they couldn’t send the lid either!So I ended up returning it and won’t purchase from them again.I find it very sad that the quality of this gorgeous kettle has gone down so much that we can’t even purchase a good item.
