The sushi help kit is good for what it's made to do. I use it to make quick sushi for my kids who love it.

This is a great sushi maker kit. I hesitated to buy after reading negative reviews but I really wanted to make heart shaped sushi for my husband. So, I said to myself, the worst case scenario, I will return it back. I’m glad that I ordered. Firstly, their videos are very clear and easy to follow for the first time sushi makers like me. I also google some other videos to educate myself before even order this kit. Because this kit will not magically make you a sushi maker if you are not putting your part of learning it. I don’t know how some people managed to fail making it when this kit is super easy to use. Maybe, they didn’t learn that sushi rice is a special kind of a rice that calls for using rice vinegar and there is a special way of cooking sushi rice to make it sticky.. or maybe they didn’t put enough rice in the maker or didn’t wet the end of the nori as it is shown it the videos. Or maybe they don’t have so much cooking/preparing food experiences. I don’t know but I assure you that even your kid can make a sushi with this kit. The material is plastic but it is not cheap at all. It is very thick high quality plastic. The sushi maker has a bag which is super cute and makes the storing very easy. Lastly, no they didn’t sponsor me this is my honest review as someone who loves sushi and watched some videos to learn how to make sushi at home.P.s: In the pics, the bamboo mat is separated because I made many california rolls lately. I put my bamboo mat in a freezer bag instead of wrapping it with stretch wrap. Something I learned from other videos I watched. It is easy to clean and you can reuse it if you pay attention when cutting your sushi.

Me encanta el producto. Con él es muy sencillo hacer los rollitos de sushi, eso sí, sólo se pueden hacer los que el alga se queda por fuera. Si el alga va por dentro y el arroz por fuera, los tienes que hacer completamente a mano. Como el rollo se queda en el molde, se cortan sin romper el alga, y todos iguales, lo único que hay que tener en cuenta, es mojar el cuchillo en cada corte. Lo más difícil que veo es poner el arroz, debería haber alguna marca o tener alguna indicación de la cantidad o peso, para no quedarse corto o largo.
