Love it. Absolutely love it.
First, I'd like to say that I had the original G1 Bluestreak when I was a kid. He was the first non-minibot TF I had, and this figure brings those memories back!Amazing figure. Terrific articulation, simple yet involved transformation, perfect deco for both car and robot modes. There are YouTube video reviews you can watch to see just how he changes, and I won't go into it. I will just say that, as a long-time TF owner, collector and transfan, this Bluestreak is amazing. One thing to be careful of, though: the part where the waist pegs into the top of the robot mode takes some force to connect. And even more force to separate when changing to car. Part of me keeps expecting something to break, but just keep trying and I'll pop together/apart eventually! So far, this my favorite Masterpiece figure. Next on the list: Masterpiece G2 Sideswipe which will arrive tomorrow, also fulfilled by Amazon!

Fun and good looking masterpiece.
Streak's colors may look dull but that's a good thing. In vehicle mode he really looks like a robot in disguise. The Datsuns are a bit challenging to transform in the leg area but that might just be me. Never the less these guys are sturdy despite having skinny legs and big feet.

Not bad, yet not quite Masterpiece quality.
Bluestreak was the first G1 Transformer I ever had, so I was excited to see there was a Masterpiece version. Unfortunately, in a couple areas, this version just sort of left me cold.I love the updated color scheme, and for being all plastic, the alt mode really DOES look metallic. No weird color matching issues that I saw. Being a Masterpiece figure, it's quite posable, and you can get a lot of "action" positions that really make it look nice.On the downside, this guy is all plastic. Granted, it's pretty good plastic, but there are some places (like on the feet) that *look* plastic-y, rather than the metal look of the outside pieces, and even the WHEELS are plastic! Really? The Masterpiece collection is supposed to be high-end, and they can't give us rubber tires? Other Masterpiece figures I have came with rubber tires, but not this one. Disappointing. Also missing seem to be Bluestreak's shoulder-mounted missiles. Sure there are little fold-up pieces, but I'm talking the big, red shoulder pieces that we've come to know and love from the G1 character. Sure, there are aftermarket add-ons that can be used, but it just feels like they should have somehow been included for the original. Finally, there seems to be a minor defect wherein the front chest piece doesn't seem to lock down into place - perhaps this is just unique to my figure, but - again - this is a Masterpiece figure; one would expect higher QC.If you're filling out a collection, or have a soft spot for Bluestreak and Prowl, then go ahead and get this. However, don't have too high of expectations.

Perfection
A+ will be buying more of these. I actually own real life car it's modeled after and in its car form the attention to detail is incredible, the robot form looks like it fell off my 1985 tube TV.

Idk why the review asks about thickness and warmth.
Though I absolutely could not transform it without the aid of the instruction book, it looks awesome in both forms.

Great toy... BBBUUUTTT.........
I love this toy and it is well built, but I bought a knockoff and not an original Tomy Takara. If you look online/youtube you will be able to find out how to tell if yours is a true Tomy Takara or a knock off. The one I bought from Amazon was a knock off, but I still love it. My 4th grade son likes to play with it and take it to school. Don't get me wrong, I bought it for me to play with, but kids will be kids and now that he is old enough to learn responsibility, I let him play with it now. FYI I bought this when it was only $40, so if he breaks it like a 9 year old will, he will learn to pay for it with his allowance and chores. So knowing my son will probably play with it until it breaks, I'm OK with it being a knock off. I have an original Masterpiece one and it is built almost identical in quality. Just be careful if you are looking to buy a collectable as you will most likely be buying a knock off. Good Luck

Great addition to your collection.
This figure is amazing, very posable and well engineered. The seller sent it quick but uses fedex smart post so expect that extra day on your shipment. Also, product was shown with the amazon exclusive shoulder blasters but alas, none were included. Overall solid seller and silver/blue streak is an exceptional piece for your G1 army.
