Outstanding Quality/Service/Value!!!
The value of this bike is fantastic. I looked around at local shops and as a newbie to road bikes was sticker shocked to say the least. Face it...if you’re buying a road bike on Amazon your unlikely to be on the podium at the Tour-de-France. Regular people want a good product at a fair price right? Buying something like a road bike sight unseen; honestly made me nervous. So I keep getting information.The professional scoring on this bikes value was what stood out for me. That ranking is dead on. This bike looks great. It’s well made and not priced like a used car.I contacted the MFG to check some information before making a purchase and Chris S was very helpful. Quick response and answered all of my questions.My bike shipped quickly, assembled easily, and every mechanical linkage was set perfect right out of the box. After reading various reviews I was pricing “professional assembly” mostly for tuning. Zero need on my bike. Both wheels were perfectly true. I had no trouble fitting my bike myself.Many have commented on the saddle, pedals and wheels. I ordered a different peddles set and saddle for ascetic/personalization reasons. I have not see any issue with the wheels. The stock tire didn’t fit my road conditions so I replaced those with more friendly Continental.I am in manufacturing so build quality is always something that stands out. Tommaso has great quality control. The frame welds, hardware taps, paint job, graphics, even the handle bar tape are done with top notch quality. I did not see a single flaw on my product.I have never owned a shifter system like this Claris before and is took all of two blocks to figure out how to operate. So well integrated it makes the action natural.I look forward to many enjoyable rides. Five starts all the way.200+ miles of use and still pleased.1 year Update. Still happy with this cycle. I’ve put 1000+ miles and not one issue with my bike. My roads are tough on the tires but “what are you gonna do right?” Get some new rubber and peddle on. Leaving KD like Tommaso has a newer entry lever model for 2020. If I had to replace my bike I’d give this brand another hard look. Not really in the BMC buyer group. Happy riding!Two year update: Still very happy with this bike. I’ve added carbon wheels to reduce some weight The mechanics of this bake are still 100% stock and work perfect.the build quality is still impressive. Not a single issue with my bike over three seasons. I’ve wore out two set of Conti’s and going strong. I still have my eyes on a carbon bike down the road but this one will stay in my garage too. Perhaps turn it into a straight bar gravel rider. Just a great bike.

It’s a good bike
I’ve had my Imola for several months and have completed nearly 700 miles on it. I paid for the bike to be assembled by Amazon. Used to ride MTBs half a lifetime ago and road bikes before that - wanted a reasonable road bike for under $1,000 and this seemed to fit the bill.And I added SPD pedals with the Tomasso shoes, some lights and a bike computer.Things that didn’t go right:Rear derailleur wasn’t adjusted correctly and self shifted and Front derailleur refused to shift onto big sprocket after two rides. Both required adjustment at local cycle shop.Rear wheel - punctured brand new tube. Cycle shop replaced it, flat after one ride, went back to shop. Needed new liner for the rim as puncture in same place and then tire isn’t well seated. Also wheel needed to be trued up after a few rides.Things that went right:It’s a beautifully made bike! 6061 alloy frame although it has a steel front fork (Tomasso claim it’s vibration dampening tech).Shimano Claris compenents all round is welcome touch at this price point.Sure it’s got rim brakes but I like somewhere dry and the Shimano Claris V Brakes are all good. Also the frame geometry for my 5’ 10” frame on M size is good - and easy to swap to the SPD pedals.The seat - lots of folk have bad things to say about the WTB seat. I’ve never owned a gel seat and I don’t feel the need to order one to replace it. I wear padded cycling pants and I don’t feel it’s a big issue.With work and family commitments, I moved inside a few months ago and have been riding indoors on a Saris trainer and ‘Zwifting’ which means I’m on the bike daily (sometimes twice daily). That meant a cadence and speed sensor plus I’m going to update the trainer to a variable resistance ‘smart trainer’ and power meter pedals.Before I can get back on the road, I will look at a wheel and tire upgrade but the trainer upgrades are the next priority.Summary - a good bike. Initial assembly particularly around derailleurs wasn’t ideal. Not super happy about the punctures either.Geometry is great, brakes are fine, seat seems to be issue for others but not an issue for me… if it goes back on road and it becomes regular road training I’ll save up for new wheels and tires but bike is good value for money.

Great Purchase
I purchased this bicycle two months ago and wanted to get some miles out of it before writing a review. I found this bike on the 99 spokes website and did some internet searching to find several reviews with various pricing and purchased it through Amazon. Assembly: When it arrived at my house it was very easy to put together, I followed the instructions provided and also watched the video on the Tommaso website. Once I finished I took it to a local bike shop and had them go over the bike just to ensure that everything was good to go. Ride: I truly enjoy riding this bike, I was able to set many personal records for routes that I typically ride, I was riding a mountain bike before upgrading to this road bike so I should.. Shifting: is very good, only issue is when the chain is on the fringes, it doesn't shift as smoothly and the chain rubs against the guard. Problems: the only problem that I have had is that the inner tubes that came with the bike didn't last very long, I put about 250 miles on the bike before I had to add air every few days and at 500 miles I had them swapped out and am at about 1200 miles on the bike with no issues.
