Good product, follow instructions
A couple of suggestions. Do not make a hook at the end of the wires in the electrical box. They will not fit around the gfci screws. I had a nightmare 3 hours trying to fit the wires in this manner. Instead, use the push in method. The ends of the wires should be straight. Then push them under the plate beneath the gfcit screws. That's about a smooth 1/2 hr job. And follow the wiring diagram included with gfci. Easy to read instructions. If you want to see a youtube video, search for "gfci Leviton". Do not be mislead by videos using the hook method to connect the wires to the screws. If you do you'll be in for a nightmare.

Good Replacement Outlet
I replaced an older gfi leviton outlet that didn't reset. This replacement was easy to install and works fine.NOTES:1. Make sure you shut off the correct breaker before replacing an old gfi outlet and installing this gfi outlet. This may be a 'duh' but needs mentioning. MAKE SURE THERE IS NO CURRENT GOING TO THE WIRES BEFORE WORKING ON THE OUTLET.2. The LINE and LOAD on this new gfi outlet were swapped from top to bottom compared to the old leviton gfi outlet that I had. So make sure you are connecting the correct wires to LINE and LOAD, especially if replacing an older gfi or even a gfi from another brand.3. This gfi outlet comes tripped from the factory. This means the led will be red after installing and turning the breaker on. After I pressed the RESET button on the gfi outlet the led turned green.

Seems Well Made
The outlet worked as intended and appears to be well built and of good quality. For those who are new to installing AC receptacles, make sure you turn off the GFI breaker at the breaker panel that feeds the receptacle you are working on so there is no chance of you lighting up like a Christmas tree. Also Important:If the receptacle you are replacing feeds multiple outlets fed from the same breaker switch in the panel, make sure you connect your white (neutral) & black (hot) leads from the breaker box to the “line in” outlet side of this receptacle (marked on the back of this receptacle)….or this replacement won’t work at all. Some receptacles don’t have a “line in” designation marking, but this one does. There is a proper in from the breaker box and out to another receptacle order to be followed if you have two white wires and two black wires feeding the receptacle you are replacing. Lastly, make sure you attach the green (earth ground) lead to the screw located on this GFI receptacle to properly ground it.

Incredible night light feature.
Great outlet and night light. I brush my teeth to its light so I don't disturb my wife with the bathroom light. It provides more than enough light to see where everything is and provides great protection being a GFCI. Never had a bad one from this company.

modern-looking
I was looking for modern-looking outlet, and this checked all the boxes. The design is sleek and clean, giving a nice updated look without being overly flashy. They feel well-made and durable, not flimsy like some other options out there. The LED indicator is a useful touch, and the self-testing feature adds an extra layer of reliability.Installation was straightforward, and it function exactly as it should.

These are bigger than the regular outlets, don't buy a used one.
I bought some of these used on Amazon because they are expensive but there's a good reason not to order used: One of mine was missing screws and the copper wire plate used to pinch/grip the electrical wire. I'm not sure if I can replace that screw but I'm going to try and I know that I cannot replace the copper plate. Whoever owned it before me should never touch anything electric. They tried to force it into a tight outlet which scuffed it all up. What that should tell you is that these MIGHT NOT FIT into your outlets. If you can manage all of these accommodations for a slightly bigger outlet then you really should buy these. This will double up protection of your home from electrical fires. It will throw it's off switch in case of over current but also if there is an electric spark. It will also protect anything on the line out from it (read the manual for more on that). I will be buying more of these and the peace of mind is well worth the extra cost.

Finally, we can plug in the garage fridge.
Easy to follow instructions, even for a beginner like myself. Just make sure to follow them. This replaced a legrand spec grade which was tripping every time a fridge on a downstream outlet was plugged in. It's been plugged in for hours now with no issues. Leviton has not let me down yet.
