A Winter Miracle for Kitchen Transformation
The media could not be loaded. As an avid DIY enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for products that not only promise but deliver exceptional results. Recently, I stumbled upon Leyland Wood and Metal Paint, and let me tell you, it has completely exceeded my expectations.First and foremost, let's talk about its remarkable quick-drying properties. Living in a region where winters can be particularly unforgiving, finding a paint that dries swiftly, even in the cold, is nothing short of a miracle. With Leyland, I was amazed to see how quickly it set, allowing me to proceed with my project without the usual wait time associated with conventional paints. But it's not just the speed of drying that impressed me; it's the quality of the finish that truly blew me away. I used this paint to revamp my kitchen cabinets and metal fixtures, and the results were astonishing. The paint glided on smoothly, adhering evenly to both wood and metal surfaces, leaving behind a flawless, professional-looking finish. The color remained vibrant and true to the shade on the tin, which is always a concern when dealing with paint products. What truly sets Leyland apart, however, is its transformative effect on my kitchen. With just a few coats of this paint, my outdated cabinets and worn-out fixtures were revitalized, breathing new life into the heart of my home. The glossy finish added a touch of sophistication, making the entire space feel brighter and more inviting. Moreover, I cannot emphasize enough how thankful I am for the convenience this paint offered during the winter months. Instead of having to wait days for each coat to dry, I was able to complete the entire project in a fraction of the time, thanks to Leyland's rapid drying formula. This not only saved me time but also allowed me to tackle other tasks on my renovation list sooner than expected. In conclusion, Leyland Wood and Metal Paint has truly been a game-changer for me. Its ability to dry quickly, even in winter, coupled with its impeccable finish, has made it my go-to choice for all my painting projects. I couldn't be happier with the results it delivered in my kitchen, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to transform their space with ease and efficiency

Quick Drying, Really Easy to Work with Paint
I lived by a Leyland Paint suppliers for many years so ended up buying their products for convenience not realising how fantastic and cheap they were. So I didn't hesitate going for this when I did a general search. This Paint doesn't disappoint, it is easy to apply, quick drying, low odour and as the old saying goes "does what it says on the tin." The coverage is as expected, going from pine to black was always going to mean at least to coats but because it dries so quickly I was able to apply a second coat right after the first coat on the bookcase I was painting. I still had half of the tin left too.

Needs several coats
Truly great that it’s low odour. I was making something in the garage and didn’t want a paint smell going into the house. It took 3 coats to properly cover prepared wood. For metal hinges I tried 3 coats and still poor coverage. I knocked it back with wire wool and then 2 more coats and it was then fine. The photo was before I knocked it back. Easy to clean paint brush. Between coats I left in a beaker of water and then shook off most of the water before painting again and that worked fine as 4 hours between coats. A lovely black on the final coat. My use is indoors but it’s a folding desk that goes over an exercise bike so I can work and gently cycle at the same time - not for detailed work but fine for zoom calls. So the paint will get the odd coffee stain to wipe off and the odd knock. So I won’s see if hard wearing or rain proof. It did seem to get dry to touch very quickly and it went a long way so plenty left for more projects in my home gym where I seem to have a black and red colour scheme started with the multi gym and punch bag. I’ve a decent list of shelves, racks still to make and this be enough paint. I did stir it and it’s quite thick and not one drip which was also good. Would have got 5 stars if one coat was enough for the wood.

Brushes clean easily.
Love this paint. I use it on doors, skirting and radiators and all look good and stay white. The best thing I like is I can clean the brush afterwards with just a bit of washing up liquid and water.

Not very strong covering
I liked the price and consistency, but have noticed that it easily comes off the painted surface and is not very durable. I did 3 coats on a little side table but it’s already coming off in places when handled. So not going to buy this again. Sorry to say.

Best white satin paint I have ever used
Over the years I have tried out many different brands of white satin paint, but this brand has absolutely been the best. I love that you can use it indoors and outdoors. I have painted all the skirting boards, the stairs rail, door frames and they turned out fantastic and one coat of this paint was enough, it has a great consistency, not watery nor too thick, went on so smoothly. I wanted to brighten up my back garden fence for summer, so gave this paint a shot, it turned out amazing. The fence is a rough type of wood and was a slate grey colour ,I usually use fence paint but the colour always fades and looks terrible after a few months. This brand paint went on so smoothly and one coat covered slate grey, which really surprised me, thought I'd have to do about 3 coats. I'd definitely give this paint 10 out of 10 and recommend to all.
