Are these permanent and can artwork made using these pens be varnished over without the lines running?

We do not make a varnish and cannot predict how they will effect our pens. Surface also makes a difference. We always recommend testing all products combined for your desired result.

Do these sakura classic gel pens have an odor/smell?

Hi! I gave them a sniff this morning and didn't smell anything. :-)

Can these Be used in a silhouette Machine

It may be best to ask the company that makes Silhouette if gel pens work. I did see references in a search. I would think medium or bold would be better for this use.

Can you color over Sakura with color pencils?

Hi! I tried it for you. I wrote with the jelly pen, then colored over it with my watercolor pencils. The pencil will color over the white, but the white shows through unless you really layer on the pencil thickly. Again, I was using watercolor pencils so I'm not sure how regular colored pencils would work.
