I bought this mat to put under my Peloton Bike. The size is perfect for my bike and fits my space. I really wanted a 5-ft mat instead of 6 ft or larger because I simply don't have the room for larger mats with other furniture in my room.I have been using the mat for about 1 month and I ride nearly every day. . . so around 30 cycles. The mat still looks new and doesn't have any signs of visible wear/tear. Also, I use the special cycling shoes that clip into the pedals and the mat is holding up to that also. The feet of my stationary bike are not wearing through the mat.The top of the mat is slightly shiny, but also has a texture to it. The rubber feet of my bike do not slip on the mat when riding. I have not had to re-position my bike.I did put a non-stick silicon mat under this particular mat. I did this for two reasons: 1) we just put in brand new ceramic tile in our house and I wanted an extra layer of protection in the floor. I didn't want this mat to stick to the tile and leave a residue over time. I am not sure if it would even do that, but was taking no chances. 2) I wanted to make sure the mat itself would not slip or move on my tile floors when riding. My tile floor has a texture, but the bottom of the mat doesn't have much of a texture at all.The mat itself is as described. The mat is not thick, but it is dense and heavy. I think it is adequately thick for what I am using it for. However, it is under 1/4 inch. It did arrive with a bit of an odor, but after a couple of days airing out and a quick wipe down, it is completely odorless. I have this in a spare bedroom.So far, I am happy with the mat itself and it seems to be wearing very well so far.

I thought the product was good. I bought it to use under a heavy-duty exercise bike when living in a place with vinyl flooring. Well, I thought nothing of it to put the mat under the bike when I moved to a place with carpet.Well, I went to shampoo the carpet and thank goodness I moved the bike. I found mold growth under the mat. I threw it away.I gave the mat 5 stars because I don’t think it’s the mat. I think it’s the moisture between the sub-floor, carpet and mat.Just posting this to alert others to occasionally check underneath their mats.

I bought these to protect my floor while weight lifting. They are very heavy and did the job. But they do have an odor to them. Made the air quality poor in the room. I moved them to the basement which was better. Also, they leave a ton of rubber crumbs and possibly some marking on the concrete. So def need to use them in a larger area or have lots of air movement and a protective plastic under them.

The size and thickness of this mat worked perfectly for me and I thought the price was very reasonable. I wanted something that would protect the carpet from my spin bike and would catch the leaks from my water bottle. (You can see in my close up picture that it's done just that. The white marks are from where the water drips have dried.) Also I wanted it to be rigid enough so I could roll the bike on and off if needed. I shouldn't need to do that often but I wanted something thick enough so it wouldn't bunch up on top of the carpet while I'm spinning. No problems there.The dimensions of my bike are 21.2" wide by 48.7" long so I maybe could have squeaked by with the smaller size but I didn't want to be barely on the mat, and I had the room for the larger.I think it looks nice so I'll probably get another for under the treadmill where I currently have a runner.

I bought a similar mat but larger to put under a Bowflex. It's been great. So when I was looking for a mat to put under my DB method machine, I searched my orders and found the same one just smaller. The material is just what I was looking for and here's why. The mat that came with the DB method machine is like a yoga mat, maybe a little thicker. My cats love to scratch it like it's a scratching mat/post. So I end up with little black pieces all over the room and a slowly dying mat lol. The last picture shows this (the mat this one replaced). This mat is like a rubber material. I tried to show that, as well as the thickness, in the pictures. It's the perfect thickness and material for my needs. Thinking about getting one for under my bike now too to help protect the vinyl flooring!

I purchased this to go under my Peloton bike. I originally purchased the Peloton mat (twice the price) and such a big mistake, it was thin, would bunch up under the wheels (on carpet) and didn't do much - just had a P logo on it. Luckily I was able to return it and ordered this for HALF the price. I love this brand as I've purchased both a mat for my rower and ellipical and both are great, heavy and durable. The bike mat is thick and sturdy, bike is secure on carpet and it stays flat and doesn't bunch up under the wheels. I like the durability of it and it's easy to wipe the sweat drips off.

I’m looking for a carpet for my entrance; where we have high traffic area on my house. Received the right size, the good quality and perfect item for this area. Very happy with this carpet.

I bought this to use with my peloton. Extremely durable and easily washable without any odor. One of the lowest prices I found for similar items.
