Why don't they even tell you what size wire wheel is? It's like ordering shoes without being able to specify the size.

It's 6 inches. You can usually figure out what size something is by looking in the technical details. I bought this wire wheel and it works fine. Another place to check for size is customer reviews. Chances are someone else noticed a lack of information and provided it in their review.

The width (of wire portion of brush) is 7/8" wide. The arbor is 3/4" wide; that is the outside edge to outside edge, not the size of the arbor hole itself. Hope this answered your question!

What is the size of the hole? Will it fit on a 3/4" shaft?

Hole size is 1/2" w bushing to go to 5/8". Need to find a larger wheel for 3/4" opening.

how wide is the wire wheel? Will it fir the 6" Porter-Cable? i bought a 1" wheel and it rubs so much the wheel won't turn.

The brush bristle width is approximately 7/8" +/-. However when used, the bristles deform and spread out. My wheel is now closer to 1"-1-1/8" in width. Hope this helps
