Loud enough for a small size
Clear mids, not so vibrant high but definitely loud enough to fill the open space outside or room. recommended. Good to pair with sub woofer.

Carefilly drill 1/2" holes on the underneath of the cabinet about an inch below the cable entrance
A not- bad marine grade speaker. Not fully waterproof either by the way. Where the cord enters the enclosure at the back there's space around it where the the air blows out at louder volumes (acts as a vent hole". They said they were 60 watts per speaker so I connected them to my 1970's realistic amp that I tested to be about 50-60 watts per channel and they took 1/4 and 1/2 volume of that less than not problem. Power handling is as advertised. The only issue is a rattle or slight distortion in the woofer when I'd say at least 8 or 10 watts or so power is reached. The more bass and volume, the worse the sound. Finally I ended up connecting and installing them on my travel trailer which is what I bought them for and still even outside this distorted noise. I was frustrated and removed them from the wall of the trailer by taking the brackets right off the speakers. It then sounded good, well good for these little guys and the distortion went away. The two 1/4" holes where the screws go in for the brackets had air blowing out of them. I had the stereo turned up about half volume in the trailer which is advertised as 20 watts per channel. That's well within the range of these speakers. I then covered the holes with my fingers and the boxy, distorted sound returned. I then knew the woofers were being starved of air. I drilled a 1/2" hole in the back of the enclosure above where the wire enters and voila. Problem solved. I will now glue a little piece of metal screen over it to prevent bugs from entering. It's on the I underneath back of the speaker so there's still no way water could enter unless you installed it upside down! Plus there was a factory hole there for the cable to enter so water could enter there anyways if I stalled upside down so did I ruin the water resistancy of it, well maybe a little. Like I said it's at the underneath back side of it and they're under the trailer's awning too. To end I'll say that they're not big bass boomers but they're better than the factory outdoor speakers. I think other people have said that about them too.

Need some noise?
These speakers are good if you just need to hear some noise. As far as sound Quality? There isn't any. On the upside, the size is about right to mount in many areas, the supplied mounting hardware is decent for the application intended. But I sure won't be buying another set.

Hilariously Bad
The product is so cheaply made. The wires used to hook the tweeters up is such high gauge that it just broke apart during the shipping process (I’d assume?) and many of the soldering joints were not even remotely properly made.I ended up having to break apart both speakers, re-solder both, replace wires in one of them, and super glue them back together just to get a sound that is of the quality of hearing someone scream while under water. They must be making good money on these speakers though. The mark-up on a product this crappy makes me laugh. There are way better products out there for much cheaper. Do not buy.

Sound great. Small enough to mount in tight locations.
Not much clearance for fasteners inside mounting brackets. Okay if you use truss or small pan head screws, but the location I had to use had a hex nut and the speakers would not fit. Don't tell anyone, but I bent the brackets and they fit perfectly now.

Speaker failed after two days
I installed the speakers on my sailboat in a compartment in the stern that can be closed to the weather. After two days, one of the speakers just quit working for no reason. The speakers did not get wet and they were not bumped or banged in anyway. The boat was at the dock the whole time between installation and failure of the speaker.I do NOT recommend that anyone buy these speakers! In defense of the seller, I did not attempt to return the speakers until the 30 day time limit was up so perhaps they would have replaced the product.
