Holds an edge.
It can be hard to find pocket knives that hold and edge for any length of time. I bought this one because it’s a decent carbon knife steel so should hold an edge better than the common stainless ones. And it does just fine, I’ve held off writing a review for months just to see. The matte finish on the steel did start to wear and get shiny from being in my pocket, doesn’t bother me although it might bother some. The only thing I didn’t like the clip. I took it off. Note if you do the clip screw will have to be shortened to hold the side of the knife on properly without bottoming. Would be nice if they included an extra short screw for that option. Last concern I had was rust being carbon steel not stainless. I don’t go swimming with it or anything but no rust. I just wipe the blade off on my pants if it gets wet in use before putting it away.

BE CAREFUL WHEN CLOSING !
Great knife, and came very sharp! built solid despite its small size. But the slipjoint (as with all slipjoints) is a big danger, especially this one that features a half-stop. Cut my finger bad trying to close it.. For those that are not familiar with slipjoint knives, there is no actual lock that keeps the blade in place. its bend blade inward to close, pull blade out to open. This features a half stop, which means the blade will stop midway and require a little more effort to push it through before opening it entirely or closing. Nice piece for a light edc, but nothing more than that.

The best non-locking knife I own. And the only one.
I bought this by thinking it had a locking blade. My own dumb fault for not having read carefully. I thought about returning it, but have decided to keep it. It's very well made, plenty sharp and very nice looking. With the reversible clip attached, it fits nicely in my pretty large left hand. The blade is surprisingly sharp. The spring holding the blade open or closed takes some deliberate action to overcome - as it should. Closing is a two step operation with a strong detent at about 45°. Just closed enough to slice my errant index finger. Lesson learned. In all, this is a fortunate mistake.

Short and sweet
Love this knife right size. Like the style of the knife. Keeps an edge good also.

Part meh, part wow.
Impulse purchase. I've been getting back into slip joint knives as of late, and liked the looks of this one. Civivi makes great knives, but I just couldn't get into this one. Super stiff, even by slip joint standards; required a substantial two finger pull to open, and definitely two hands to close. Plus 14c28n steel is one of the better budget steels, but feels out of place on a $70+ knife. Overall, very comfortable in the hand, great blade shape, and the steel bolsters and g10 gave it a very solid feel. 3/5 overall.

Knives are not fidget toys
If you feel like you have to "play" with your knives then this one isn't for you. (Side note, get some help with that) It's a very solid Slipjoint with a robust back spring, 14C28N steel is a very tough steel often used on European Bushcraft knives that still offers very good corrosion resistance as well. But for all you folks who have to "Fidget"...go get a toy for children, knives are tools, not play things. I feel like your mother should have told you that when you were young.

Looks nice, well made but not a keeper for.me
I wanted to like this but with no good way to deploy the knife it feels off to me. I guess I'm spoiled by some of the other more fidget friendly locking mechanics
