Elite0150201 Eroica Water Bottle, 600ml, Silver

Got this when I really didn't need it; I'm already drowning in water bottles. This is a super nice bottle regardless, and I made room to keep it. The cork isn't totally watertight, this bottle will leak if it's laid on its side. Also the cork leaked yellow colors and a little bit of flavor as I was first using it. I weighed the cork down in water overnight for a couple days to let all that leach out of the cork. Use it all the time now.

I did not come with a lid

I put a couple of these on my recent Scorcher project. They are the perfect touch for an antique (looking) bike. <chef kiss>However, there is a hit of red on the cap. If you want to remove this color, peel off the protective vinyl on top, flood it with acetone, and it will rub off. The bottle is "given a tough satin finish with a subtle l'eroica logo". That "tough satin finish" is a plastic coating. If you try to remove the L'Eroica logo with acetone, you will eventually remove the plastic coating. Looks terrible. Don't do it.The cord is useless. Just don't lose the cork.

Works as intended, i.e. A 1930's repo that is a little messy and awkward to drink from but fits the vintage theme perfectly. I had to retye one of the strings but they seem to be very durable.

Like the vintage look. Doesn’t keep beverage cool whatsoever even for less than 30 minute bike ride.
