AlessiTeo Spoon, One size, Silver

Nice, but does not stay in place and is too big to be placed on the tea...not easy to clean, but sturdy. Interesting, but not that functional.

I like this handy little kitchen device. I drink tea a lot and always hated fishing out the hot tea bags and squeezing all the water out before discarding. I usually made a mess. Now with the Teo Spoon it is easy and fast and no longer a dreaded (but minor) annoyanceA little pricey but perfectly made and in a well formed shape and it looks kinda cool on the counter top awaiting my nightly ritual of a cup of tea and paying homage to my British roots.

It's Alessi design. You know that's why it costs quite a lot for a spoon that makes sense in theory but does not exactly function in practice.You can squeeze a teabag through the spoon by pulling a string out the other end, true. But your teabag does not really WANT to do that unless you do some coaxing. Maybe there is a trick to it, but it is just easier to use two regular spoons to squeeze out your teabag. Just not as pretty.There are a lot of fun Alessi designs and I actually think this is one of them! I don't love this spoon the way I love Mr. Suicide, the tub stopper, but I still appreciate it.

Purchased as a gift & the recipient loves it, so no complaints there. The high price seems unjustified as it is a essentially a shaped piece of chrome-plated metal.

Tore the tea bag rather than compressing it. I guess we don’t use real high end tea that use weaved mesh bags.

The tea lover in me loves this when I am forced to use a tea bag. Less mess.

This was actually a gift for a tea drinker; she uses it daily and loves the Alessi style.

I love Alessi but this is a regrettable purchase. It is just too fiddly and cumbersome to be practical. I also think it is quite ugly. It takes up too much space in cutlery drawer and just gets in the way on the worktop. I wish I hadn’t bought it. I have given it 3* as it is well made and a high quality item...just not for me:(

Beautifully designed. Simple but very clever!

Ausprobiert und für unbrauchbar befunden.Der eingelegte gebrauchte Teebeutel bleibt hängen- beim ziehen an selbigem reißt die Schnur.Gut für Deko ohne Verwendung- das sollte sich mal ein schwäbischer Tüftler anschauen und es in die funktionierende Form bringen.So was kauft man sich wenn es einem langweilig ist.
