Charges fast and really useful upgrade
I recently had the opportunity to try out a wireless car charger, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! As someone who owns a Samsung 21 with a 5000 milliamp battery, finding a car charger that can keep up with my phone's demands can be a challenge, but this wireless charger delivers.First off, the fact that it's wireless is a game changer - no more fumbling with cords and cables while driving. The charger is easy to install, and can be trimmed to size so that it fits perfectly in your car's center console or wherever you choose to place it.But what really sets this charger apart is its charging speed. My Samsung 21 5000 milliamp battery charged incredibly fast while on the go, and I never had to worry about my phone dying during long car rides. It's really useful, especially when you're using your phone for navigation or streaming music during a road trip.Overall, I highly recommend this wireless car charger to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient way to charge their phone while on the go. It's a convenient upgrade that makes a big difference in how you use your phone in the car.

It works!
I really dislike having to plug my phone into a cable since I added wireless charging pads to my desk and bedroom. It's also a safety issue in the car under a variety of situations especially when you can do just about anything you want to do involving the phone hands-free these days. I decided to pick up one of these universal charger pads when I purchased a wireless Carplay adapter for my vehicle so there would be no reason to connect cable to my phone in the car for any reason. This unit comes with a captive cable terminated with a Type A USB connector AND a single socket 12V QC3.0 power converter to plug into an accessory outlet in your car. I chose this one because the cable is 30CM long (a bit over 12") which suited placement in my Ridgeline. You could opt to plug this in directly to a built in USB outlet in the car instead of using the supplied , or your own converter, BUT, if your Car's USB outlets are not quick charge 3.0 rated, which is most likely the case, then you'll be charging at a slower rate than a straight cable connection to the phone due to the lower efficiency of wireless charging. The same is true if you use just any old 12V to USB adapter you have in your car if that adapter isn't QC3.0 rated. This is very likely the issue with most reviewers who are complaining about slow charging. Do yourself a favor and use the supplied 12V QC3.0 adapter or pick up one equal or better that is QC3.0 rated. I get about 1% a minute on average according to the iPhone battery indicator. I purchased an Ainope dual outlet QC3.0 adapter so I could keep one outlet available for a passenger or some other doodad that might need power since my other exposed front outlet is occupied by my Carplay adapter's plug. Be sure you use the provided QC3.0 rated adapter or one of equal output power (18W per connection output) or you'll be back to slow charging and that's not the charging pad's fault. The pad is fully rubberized which helps keep your phone in place and there are some double stick pads so you can secure the pad in place. Unfortunately, I did find that my phone would occasionally shift around on the pad and as a result, the pad would sometimes lose connection to the phone if the two got misaligned even a relatively small amount. Your experience may vary depending on the internal design of the charge coil inside your phone. There is a small LED on the inline controller the cable runs through that stays red when there is no connection and turns blue when charging, but it has to be facing you to be seen or reflect off some nearby glossy surface in your vehicle. One or more reviewers have complained about interference with their vehicle entertainment system - I have not had any issues like that at all with any of the functions of my Honda Ridgeline's infotainment system or with any other electronic device I might have operating in there with me.Overall, I like this. I could complain about a feature here and there, but this is supposed to be a Universal device meaning it needs to work with most if not all wireless charging capable phones and it has to work with most all vehicles that are bouncing around on the road, none of which are in control of the manufacturer of the charging pad. For me it works. It's relatively unobtrusive, it seems to charge as well as my home based wireless chargers and all I have to do is place my phone on top of it when I get in the vehicle and it starts to replenish the battery without me having to fumble with cables cluttering up my space. In addition it avoids putting additional wear and tear on the one relatively fragile and exposed connector with its finite life that is all I have to plug in other non-wireless external accessories I use with the phone. I call that a win.

Not bad
This product, overall, works well enough. It fits in the space I need it too. It isn’t overly picky about it my phone is EXACTLY aligned on the pad. And it has both a USB and lighter socket option. However, it charges very slowly. It can also get a little warm, and is always powered, even when your vehicle is off. Not the best. But also cheaper and easier than several hundred dollars for an aftermarket install.

Doesn't Charge Well - Returned
Got this for my consoless F150 (front bench seat) to sit in the front tray. It fits perfectly and was exactly what I wanted. After a 2 hour trip my S22+ phone battery had drained lower, using Android Auto the whole time. I checked the volts, amps, and watts with a usb meter. 5V output, but only about .5A (2.5W) with the case on. With the case off and PERFECTLY PLACED I could get it to go to almost 1.5A for a brief second, but after a time it would fluctuate and stabilize at 1.25A or lower. But the best I could do with my slim, nonmetal case, was .5A. Very touchy and not reliable in the truck.Same goes above for my iphone 12 and with different USB ports. The thing advertises 10W with 2A output and I got nothing near that. It also says 9V input. Is it saying that you can achieve 2A only if you have a 9V usb? That would be 18W. Something doesn't seem right. I returned it.

Subaru Forester '23 Fit is perfect
I own an iPhone 13 Mini and love that it can fit in my Subaru's cubby. To get the charging pad to fit I had to trim the edges a little bit. But you can't really tell. I used the double sided adhesive and it doesn't move at all. I DID switch out the charging adapter plug for a Lisen, because it's much smaller. It allows the cord to be hidden. The adapter that comes with this is very long in comparison and the cord was a little floppy and couldn't be contained in the cubby. Great charging so far.2 Month Update: Still works GREAT. Better than a lot of stock charging pads in other people's cars. Just try to keep it in an area that can cool off. Avoid direct sunlight. I can see that being an issue since it's literally just a pad.

Perfect for the car with no charging system
Works like a charm. perfect for the vehicle with no built in dock charger. I now don’t have to worry about the cord being put in and out of the phone.
