DD31-00005A Dishwasher Drain Pump, Replacement Part for Samsung Dishwashers, Replaces DW0005A, DMT800RHW, DMT400, DMT300, DMR78A, DMR77, DMR57

After 11 years, my Samsung dishwasher, model # DMT800RHS/XAA, displayed the error message 5E, meaning it wouldn't drain properly. I followed manufacturer actions to fix, but kept having the problem & error. After a LOT of searching the internet for a couple weeks, and taking my dishwasher apart over & over again, I finally found repair clinic dot com, and they recommended replacing this drain pump. I found this one at a great price & ordered it. It showed in just a few days & I installed it quickly & easily. My dishwasher works great like BRAND NEW!!! And, it's quiet again! I also replaced the rubber check vane drain valve through the tub access, which was super easy!

Our Samsung dishwasher would not start and displayed a blinking 'Delicate' LED which indicated a drain pump problem. I watched a repairclinic video on the repair process and found it to be exactly like the video. I turned off the power and water to the dishwasher. Then disconnected the water and power lines, pulled the dishwasher out and tipped it on its side. Took only a minute to twist the old drain pump off and then twist the new one on. Tipped the dishwasher up, pushed it in, reattached the water & power lines and turned the water & power on. The dishwasher works like a charm now!

Purchased knowing this wasn't the right part for my model. Thought I'd take a chance it might fit given the correct part is $150 and this is $25. I regret buying a Samsung dishwasher. It's garbage. But I don't have the funds to buy what id like at the moment. My hope is this just buys us some time. So I needed part dd81-02635a. This fits but with a bit of fiddling. The clips don't line up exactly. Also after it's installed it will seat at a slant upwards. If you seat it slanted down it won't fit. The retainer clip also won't click on as it would if it was the right part. It's a good enough for my house situation. It is a bit louder than the original. Like I said this was a $25 gamble to buy us a couple months. So far no leaks but time will tell. The above is for reference purposes only. proceed at your own risk.

Not the right fit for Samsung DWR802031US, I received a damage part, I blame both Amazon and seller, poor package handling on both sides. I don’t want to spend more time on this I made it fit by removing the tab lock from the base, not ideal. I won’t buy any more Samsung appliances in the future :( , cheap but very poor quality.

I used this to replace the original pump in my Samsung dishwasher. I had a bit of a problem orienting it 1st time around, resulting in it leaking water almost immediately. I did not get much help troubleshooting from Reyhoar guys (dealers/ manufacturers) themselves, but tried changing it's orientation and it worked. I was trying to position it similar to the original part's position but it didn't work. The plastic looks cheap as compared to the original part so I thought that perhaps a gasket could help.We've been using the dishwasher daily past one month and no issues.The wires fit the new position without any hassle and the pump itself has some clearance from the base plate (hopefully) so I don't mind the orientation at all.Time will tell how durable it is, but considering the original pump (~$130 part for the ~$400 dishwasher) lasted me a bit over 1 yr (just outside warranty), this ~$30 pump seems like a good deal.It nearly shook my DIY beliefs, but glad it worked.Aside: getting extended warranty on appliance seem like a good idea now. the minimum $200 labor + part would have costed me the price of a new cheap dishwasher.
