Excellent drill bits. They are very sharp and can quickly drill large holes.

As described - works as expected for auger bits - stays sharp for many holes.

I am a real reviewer (Amazon customer since 1997) and the pictures are from a real project using this bit.Below is my review using the Pros and Cons format.BLUF: I recommend this bit. Drill through 6x6 like butter.-Pro:1. Maintained sharpness after drilling through 77x 6x6 post.2. Bore through 6x6 like butter.3. 6 inch long. Can easily drill through 6x6 (since 6x6 are more like 5.5x5.5)4. They are strong. They feel hefty. No cheap feeling to them.Cons.1. Some minimal binding will occur. I recommend backing up the bit and blowing out the wood chipping.2. The shank will break off if there is too much torque. One the bit sheared off.

These bits are great. Once started, they bored right though a 6x6 with no effort on my part. It literally pulled itself though the wood in no time at all. Very happy with this purchase.

Drilling timbers cut from old growth oak trees on my land, these bore right through. I’m impressed.

Super fast once it bites. It required a solid push at the end though once the front of the bit punches through the wood.
