My 5.5 yo daughter said the spaghetti was perfectly warm after 6 hours. It’s spacious and wide enough to eat from. It’s difficult for her to open it for now so her teacher has to help.

My husband’s office is like the artic for some reason, so he uses this to take lunch. I fill it about 1/3rd full with hot water for about 15-20 minutes (usually while I am cooking) because I read somewhere that this helps an insulated container to keep things warm.It holds about 1cup of cooked rice with about 1 cup of cooked veges and beans. Enough to satisfy the appetite of a 6’1” husband with a metabolism to envy!He normally has lunch about 7 hours after its packed and though it’s been a few years since he’s had it, he still often expresses awe at how warm his food remains, without going bad (though if he leaves it longer, I imagine the heat will make it go bad). He previously tried taking food to work in other insulated containers, with same prep done ahead of packing his lunch, but the food would be, at best, room temperature when he was ready to eat. This one keeps it hot, even though he is in a cold room all morning. Also, so far, no spillages. Really good product!

The one I was looking for!Finally I dont have to pour my food from the container to a plastic or whatever cup that usually comes with other thermic containers, and mess with it, but instead I can eat directly from it in a very comfortable way thanks for the design..Also, keeps the food warm, and can be closed very well. Good quallity.

This item is enormous for a 12 oz thermos. I own two other 12 oz almost thermoses that are significantly smaller. As far as keeping food warm it does a reasonable job. Zojirushi is still far and away the best brand at this in my experience, keeping food piping hot all day. I wanted to try this because it was all stainless steel without a plastic lid, which is a bonus, as long as you don't need your food very hot for long period of time. If you need it warm halfway through the day then it will suffice. And yes, I do preheat it with boiling water for 10 minutes. (With the Zojirushi preheating it for 1 minute will suffice, and it will do a better job keeping your food hot even if you don't preheat it.)

Works great at keeping food hot/warm for hours. Add boiling water and close for 10 mins before use and you will have hot food for lunch. Works great for school lunches as well. Wide mouth is perfect.I'm very happy with this thermos.

Excellent , I pack my lunch at 630 am and it’s always still hot when I eat between 1 and 2 pm. The wide opening is easy to eat from. Throw it in the dishwasher and do it again.

We ordered three of these. Two are fine, one gets hot on the outside. Seems to keep food a little less warm too than the other two.

Highly recommend. Good quality. Kids can open and close. Keeps their lunches warm and is plastic free where exposed to food
