Q: Can it power on/off Sony TV when PC is suspended/resumed without Kodi? That's all I'm looking for -- just turn on/off the TV even without Kodi.

Yes, it took me a while to figure out how to wake and sleep my TV along with my PC. The tricky part was triggering the TV to wake at the Windows login screen and not after I logged in, otherwise I would be logging in blind. First download and install libCEC, available on the pulse-eight website. While installing "libCEC", be sure to check the box near CEC Debug Client. Next, write 2 batch scripts and save them somewhere, I just put them directly in C:/cec-tv-on.bat and C:/cec-tv-off.bat. I used this guide to write the batch scripts: http://support.pulse-eight.com/support/solutions/articles/30000027391-turn-on-off-tv-using-usb-cec-adapter-windows- . Next, download an app called "Hibernate Trigger". Finally, open "Hibernate Trigger" and insert the path to the respective batch scripts in the Suspend/Resume boxes. Works like a charm!

Q: Im having issues with rgb full 4k 60, im using a 6 foot 18gbs amazon cable too? with dp to hdmi adapter, sparkles-loss signal

The adapter should be a pin for pin HDMI passthrough. However 4K 60hz was not ratified as a standard until HDMI 2.0. In pretty sure this adapter came out before then so it's probably 1.3 or 1.4 specs. This means that if you're not having any trouble with the miniDP to HDMI without using the adapter (directly between computer and output display), the HDMI-CEC adapter is not compatible with 4K 60Hz signal. I'd inquire with the manufacturer. Maybe they have a firmware update or a manufacturing revision of the product to address this issue.

Q: Does this work with Windows Media Center on Windows 7?

Yes, it works perfectly with WMC on Windows 7. I had it working with my brand new Samsung TV within minutes. You might want to remap some of the buttons to your preference, but that is simple to do with their tray program.

Q: Will this device work with a dvi to hdmi cable going from it to the computer?

Yes it will, connect the USB-CEC Adapter after the DVI -> HDMI cable
