They feel like they are made of heavier plastic. They are small, I wear xlarge gloves. I am able to use them about 25 feet or more (from in hallway to in dining room) to discourage some young cats. Works Great!! Better than spray bottles.UPDATE: just put the other gun into use and it does leak if pointed straight down.

These are hard to fill and they leak. You have to keep them in a glass, nozzle side down in order to keep them from leaking all over whatever you lay them upon. I eventually threw them out.

Very cheap and if you leave water in them, they leak!

A bit weak on the stream and seem kinda cheap but would be perfect for little kids at the pool. My 18yo son bought them for “senior assassin” at his school and was eliminated pretty quickly so didn’t get much use, but I filled one the other day and sniped him when he came home. Seems to work fine from 10 feet or so.

I use these to train our dogs to stop barking on command. The stream of water holds together without spraying or dripping for about 8 feet so I can 'shoot' the fuzzy barker from a distance without water messes in between. I haven't had them leak while laying on their side, either.

Granted this may not matter for some users, but we ordered these for a little different reason than pool side water gun battles. We have a small puppy that loves to jump up and nip our much taller, older dog. We have found that a good "squirt" is an effective tool in helping curb the jumping. Therefore, we need something to squirt laying all around the house so that we can respond quickly. The problem with these guns for us is that they leak. We can't leave them laying around with water in them on desks, tables, etc... because the water slowly leaks out of them. This review is only a negative if you are going to keep them filled with water in a place you don't want to have a "puddle". They are great "squirting" guns...a long straight stream (perfect for what our use was), but need to either be emptied after each use, or left outside.

these are well worth the money and provide loads of fun.

This is a great example of getting what you pay for. They're a bit difficult to fill but that's not the real issue. After a month or so, they just stopped working. The trigger would get stuck and with a little effort,I could get them to move - but once unstuck, they wouldn't spray. There were 2 in the pack. If only one had the issue, I would think it was a fluke but both had the same problem. They weren't expensive - but I don't appreciate buying junk. More plastic for the landfills.
