Works great!
For me they make keeps the house clean easy. They are a little noisy so I set it to vacuum when I’m not home. Great for the price I have one down stairs and one up stairs really helps between vacuuming especially since I have pets.

One Month In: How Did I Live Without You?
The media could not be loaded. Let me just say that before I bought my Roomba, I NEVER vacuumed. Like, never. And as such, I never really realized how gross my floors were. I have hardwood floors, with only a couple area rugs, so I only ever really noticed dirt and fibers accumulate there. As such, I would spot vacuum. It wasn’t until I ran my Roomba for the very first time that I realized just what filth I was living in. I’m honestly embarrassed I ever had anyone over. The dirt tray was full after one hour and a half session with my 700 square foot condo. My hair, my chihuahua’s hair, small rocks, and all kinds of dust and debris were picked up. Seeing just how much was collected, I ran the Roomba again once it was fully charged, and the tray was half-full this time!I have had this robot for a month now. It’s scheduled to run every day. I take care of it, too, with weekly maintenance including taking apart and cleaning the brushes. I also plan to change the filter once a month. It’s worth it to me.Some concerns I had before I bought this and how I have addressed or adapted to are as follows….How much does the Roomba actually pick up? Well, after cleaning and emptying it once a week, with my 750 square foot condo, I find the tray is half full of dust and debris after running it once a day for the entire week.Do I have to keep an eye on the Roomba, or can I let it just do its’ thing? The answer is a little mixed. I watched it for the first week, checking for any problems that would occur. I did have to buy risers for one of my couches, that Roomba just couldn’t *quite* clear under from certain angles. I also keep my closet door closed, since Roomba likes to go over the track but then get stuck. I also have to occasionally move it ever-so-slightly once in a while when it rolls over a particular area of the rug near my bed that has been warped slightly and Roomba thinks it’s “stuck near a cliff”. And about once a week, I have to readjust a lightweight bookshelf that has been moved by Roomba about a half inch to the right when it hits the right spot (this could be solved by adding more weight to the shelving unit or anchoring it to the wall; I’m just lazy, hence my lack of vacuuming pre-Roomba). These are all VERY minor inconveniences, almost unnoticeable.I have so much furniture, where am I going to put my Roomba when it’s not in use? See the attached photo, and you might be able to tell I’ve hidden my Roomba underneath one of my couches that rests flush against a wall. This took a little test and adjust because the Roomba initially loved to move the charging base when it bumped into it during cleaning, so I secured the base to my floor with a little bit of earthquake-safe putty. I’ve also put a push pin in my wall to raise the cord that attaches to the outlet, so Roomba can clean the baseboards.Overall, I’m incredibly satisfied with the Roomba. My dog isn’t very scared of it, but he steers clear anyways, whereas he used to be so terrified of my other vacuum that I had to put him in the other room and close the doors. The Roomba is quiet enough that I can still watch TV (though admittedly I have to turn up the volume slightly, which is to be expected). The best part is being able to schedule it via the app, or control it with my Echo devices. I am so satisfied with my Roomba, that I’m currently saving up for the Braava mopping robot from iRobot for my kitchen and bathroom. It’s only been a month, and I wish I had made this purchase much, MUCH sooner!

Works great
I just got it, plugged it in to charge. In the meantime I vacuumed like normal. Once this was charged I let it go to do it's thing. It's amazing. It gets under the bed, under things I normally can't get into without the hand vac. I have 2 long hair dachshunds, this thing picked up a lot of hair my other vacuum didn't get. I haven't set up through the irobot app, but I don't need to. It does everything I need to do without it. If you are on the fence, take the jump and get this, I would def buy it again.

Buy another brand!!! Didn’t work out of the box!
Bought in late June for my craft apt. Didnt open immediately because of bad fall with broken back. House Roomba still under warranty broke, (still trying to resolve that) so went to apt. and got unopened one. Plugged up to charge and got charging error right out of the box!! AYKM?! trouble shooting suggestions online didn’t fix. Now I have 2 broken Roombas. Been fighting iRobot 2 months on the first one! What are the odds I’ll get the second one fixed? My advice? Buy another brand because I’ve had 4 different service people at iRobot, made countless calls, jumped through ridiculous hoops (ex: send us video of the robot giving the error message), and over 20 emails regarding the first broken robot. Now I have to do it all for the second one too?! iRobot has The Worst customer service I’ve ever seen!!

Robot review
It does good at vacuuming! Simple to set up! Wished I’d have paid attention more and got one with mapping…this one just has a mind of its own and goes where it wants. Gets on a “cliff” pretty often as well when there isn’t one

If you have pets, you need one of these.
Mostly, set it, forget it, and clean it every couple of days. It works great, cleans great, and replacement parts can be found anywhere.

First one was total junk. Replacement is spectacular.
This is a remanufactured unit. Typically, I find them better because they are actually worked on by a person. The first on I received was junk. It would go a few feet and sit there and cry for help. It also took 8 hours to get connected and I even sublet that to a millennial who was also at wits end. Sent it back and got a replacement. The replacement is awesome. It never complains and does a very good job. I'm as thrilled with the 2nd one as I was disappointed with the first.
