Got it on time and it worked perfectly just.thought it would pump little faster good unit wroth the money

Died within a month and covered in rust. I think that says it all really - avoid.

This is a GREAT WORKING PUMP, but quickly got VERY RUSTY on all other metal than the shell. I just do not respect half-measures of making part of it stainless and the rest of the metal parts able to rust so completely. I would have paid a few more dollars to have all the metal be stainless. This is like selling a pair of shoes where one is made from expensive leather and the other is made from cheap plastic. Nonetheless, I will buy another to replace it when it dies because it works so well to heat my swimming pool through garden hoses on my roof. My 6000 gallon pool increase temperature by about 6 degrees Fahrenheit per day on average and extends my swimming days per year.

The description of the pump states "great anti-corrosion ability" and "Corrosion Resistant Brass discharge outlet". However, after less than a week, significant rust developed in multiple locations (see pics). The pump worked, but given the level of rust and other reviews describing rust problems, I decided to return it. Note: if using with a solar panel, you will need a buck converter (9V-36V to 12V, 10A). There are many other versions of this pump, so I'll try another. (note: tested in rain water at pH of 6.9)
