Polly PocketTheme Park Backpack Compact with 2 Dolls, Accessories & Multiple Activities

My daughter loves this polly pocket version. She hadn't heard of Polly Pocket before, whereas I remember it from the 1980's when I was growing up. This one has so many more features than the originals.Previously my daughter had been playing with some vintage micro machines with her younger brother (5yrs old) when I mentioned Polly Pocket to her. As soon as I showed her the pictures of them she loved them. She chose this one of the theme park, which I think had so much detail and different aspects too that we ordered this as a present from Mum for Christmas. I have a rule that Father Christmas buys some little things and mum buys the rest.She loved the idea that it all folded into a backpack and meant that she could take it anywhere.All of the fold out elements are great, the only tiny niggle was the tiny golf (think it's golf) clubs which she has mislaid a few times because they are so tiny. She just has to make sure that she puts them away safely in the little box or they have sometimes become trapped in the catch section which has then been hard to remove.I also bought her the owl/camping Polly Pocket to go with this one, purely because we have a little teardrop trailer and it looked cute as an add on gift. She has been able to play with both together and the pieces work well with one another.My 5yr old son is desperate to play with them all but my daughter is more protective of them so hopefully in time they can play alongside and mix and match between micro machines and Polly Pocket without arguments (fingers crossed!)A great little gift and one that will have lots of hours of play ahead, the imagination is endless.

Bought this polly pocket play set for my daughter. Good value for money as it was on offer. Very quick delivery. Very sturdy , although there was little fault. Seller sent out replacement which was perfect. Excellent customer service.

Polly Pocket sure seems to have changed since I remember my sisters playing with them as kids. The quality seems to have dropped but the imagination and complexity seems to have increased (although, I've yet to see anything so daring as a modern remake of the real working clock, or the one with light up windows that I vaguely recall were a thing back in the day).Polly is a lot more flexible than her old school counterpart, but this is probably a good thing - I remember my sisters' breaking quite often - although it does mean that the old and new ones probably aren't compatible at all.I bought this for my eldest daughter, aged nearly six now, but both she and her sister, aged three, have had a lot of quality playtime out of this set.The only issues that I can think of is that everything needs to be just so in order for it to close without issue, and it seems to be very tempting for a younger or more impatient child to potentially break it by forcing it closed - and even when it is closed properly, things still sort of hang open a bit, so smaller parts can still escape. The small parts are the second issue - sure, you expect Polly Pocket to come with small parts, but we're talking golf balls and golf clubs that aren't much larger, some of which were lost almost instantly.All in all, this is a great set, although the lack of a proper seal when closed means that you probably wouldn't want to use it as a backpack or take it outside the house for fear of losing bits.

We have several Polly pockets and this is by far the best. It’s bigger than most so allows kids to play together in different sections. The features are so creative and the kids have had hours of fun with this toy. Would recommend for a Polly pocket fan but I’ve seen the price fluctuate so do hold out for a bargain!

this is a present that hasn't been given yet but I've opened up the box and it looks great. Got this when it was on offer and from what I've seen it looks totally worth the money.

My daughter absolutely love this. She spends a long time when playing with it. It also helps with her imagination and talking. There are small, very tiny, accessories, so might not be suitable with young child. The Ferris wheel feels a bit wobbly and often come off I’m not sure if it is faulty or it’s just the way it is.
