Melt-in-your-Mouth Greek biscuit/confectionery treats
These Greek 'Kourabiedes' are very well made and are even easier to eat! They are also known in Greece as 'Wedding Cakes' as they are traditionally served at them or eaten at other special events throughout the year such as Easter.However they can also be eaten at any time. Dusted in flour, there is Greek shortbread and almonds in this version with a touch of Chios Mastiha, a liqueur which is obtained as tree resin/Mastic oil from the Mastic Tree. It tastes really wonderful and gives these Kourabiedes a light essence. Very much a treat, as the box is not huge, you get in and around 14 of them, they are best enjoyed with a cup of coffee.The only problem you may find is stopping yourself from eating the whole box of them!

I’m giving the 2 stars purely since the products is past its date already upon receiving it.Given the price I purchased I’m at I can’t be bothered to return it - maybe that’s why the price drops over a period of time to get rid of them…
