Great sound for small spaces
I was happy to hear the quality added sound this speaker gave my existing system. I have other flax series speakers and this sub added the clean sound I was looking for. Don’t listen to other reviews about how this speaker lacks quality. Speakers get blown by improper amp setting. Do your research and you’ll be good

Compact punch
I think that this sub is impeccable if mounted correctly. It’s I use it with my vintage MRV-357 alpine 5 channel and it’s BIG part of the best stereo system I’ve ever heard and I’ve I have four dual coil diamond 6.5’s in the doors and two pioneer 5.5 in the roof . Slight overkill but it sounds crispy and that bass is smooth and sounds amazing with any genre. Just get the right box and sound proof. I have already had it year and couldn’t be happier.

Branded Name but Quality Sinks
Bought this sub about a year ago. Had a local stereo installer installed this sub along with a Focal Amplifier to go along with it. I barely put 300 miles onto my car and suddenly this Subwoofer Blown after less then 300 miles of use? WTF, What a waste of money. Go with JL or Alpine. Focal is a branded name company but their products seems to lack quality control or meets expectations.
