Bought this product to finish off my newly installed plastic kitchen ceiling.Came in a large roll and once untaped I had to weigh it down on the decking in the garden.Had to use extremely strong adhesive and props to stick it to the ceiling for several hours.I am aware it wasn't advertised for this application BUT if I used it for architrave purposes I would have struggled to fix it properly to door frames or windows.The product itself is brilliant

I viewed a few similar products and this one was a heavier gauge, good quality and cost effective lengths.One thing I did not consider, dark upvc conducts more heat than the timber shiplap I am replacing. With insulation it is not really an internal worry. Just take care not to lean on the exterior during hot spells.

Delivered by Hermes two days early in first class condition. Suggest you use double sided sticky tape to instal it. Looks good.

As others have alluded to this product arrives coiled up and action needs to be taken to straighten it out so it can be fixed properly. On arrival I rolled out the lengths and left them outside in the sun. This helped but not enough. I cut out the lengths i needed and tried a hair drier but to no avail. I achieved success when i used a heat gun.All is now OK and the strips have been fastened with silicone.

I had hoped with would be delivered flat. No, it gets rolled up, making it nigh-on impossible to get to stick to anything without loads of clamps, blocks and the middle lifting up or the ends lifting up. Rolling it the other way merely produces a wavy length that still refuses to stay stuck.

Used this to save old wooden window frame from further disintegration, worked a treat with the help of no more nails. One frame was painted it looked great. Hopefully will get another 50 years out of the frame!!
