Worked great
Installed led lights on my deck but thought they were way too bright. Used this with my 12v DC power supply and was able to dim the lights to an acceptable level.

Dead on arriva l- don’t bother
I have high quality leds and power supply. Wanted to dim led strips to a fixed brightness. Wired in accordance to the markings on the unit and it did not dim the leds. Not worth the return hassle.

5 Stars – Excellent Quality and Sturdy Construction! Bought 2
I purchased two of these LED Light Strip Dimmers for my under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen, and I couldn't be happier! The construction feels robust and high-quality, ensuring durability over time. They work flawlessly, allowing me to adjust the brightness to set the perfect mood. Installation was straightforward, making it an easy addition to my lighting setup. Highly recommend this dimmer for anyone looking to enhance their LED lighting experience!

No flicker, well made. One caveat (no OFF position)
The switch appears well-made and does not feel cheap. It can dim 12VDC Edison style LED bulbs - even ones that say "non-dimmable" and the dimming is smooth with no flicker. The extras include male and female 2.1MM barrel plugs - a very nice bonus. My only complaint is there is no actual OFF position. At the setting where it's indicated as OFF, the knob doesn't click and in fact the BULBS still have a faint glow, meaning there is no actually off.

Perfect for toning down BRIGHT Christmas tree LED lights
After many years of considering it, we figured this f-ed up year was a good one to get an artificial Christmas tree. We wanted one that came with lights, but that sadly meant getting LED bulbs. We got a Home Accents tree from Home Depot since it wasn't super expensive and looked surprisingly decent once it's fluffed up and all arranged. We find them way too bright so I was on the hunt for a way to dim them. This dimmer worked perfectly. I bought a couple 2-prong plugs from Amazon too, the male one needed a plastic casing trimmed off, but that was easy with a Dremel. Once that was done, I wired it all together and voila! Dimmable Christmas tree! What's kind of interesting is that when we first turn the tree on, there is a visible flickering of the lights, which is what I was afraid of and I thought a PWM was supposed to address. At first my hopes sank, but what we found is that the flickering fades after a few minutes (OK, maybe like 10 minutes). A little unclear to me why that is, but after a little while, the lights are solid and just the right level of brightness.

This is the one to get for LED strip lights
I tried 2 of the other inline dimmers, one was stepped and the other didn't go to full off. Using this one on 24v COB, about 30ft., it works perfectly, stepless to full off. Does not even get warm on highest resistance. Only downside is you have to wire it up yourself. However, this is the only seller I could find who provides both the pigtails AND spade terminals!

Didn't work
This dimmer didn't work for me. I have a 12v power supply connected to 5 voltage step ups connected to 5 LEDs, total power 250W.The dimmer powered on the LEDs but did not dim anything, and started smoking as well.
