Bought these for my 4 year old Granddaughter. She absolutely loved them. The flowers turn out very pretty and she gifted some of the finished products to others for their enjoyment. Super cute and easy project!

This paper flower product is very much the same as another from the same manufacturer that's of butterflies. These are great fun for an afternoon or two, but as you can probably tell, they aren't a long term toy. But my granddaughter has a couple of these that have been previously created around the house and she had a great time making them!

I bought it for a birthday present for a nine-year old. I had fun with it too. The only reason that it gets four starts is that Crayola really needs to provide refill kits for purchase. The paper is the first to be used. I have tried water color paper and cone style coffee filters. The filters work best, but are not quite the same as the paper provided. My watercolor paper didn't work well at all. We broke a few centers and after awhile the stems don't work well either. So far we haven't run out of ink. We have probably made at least 30 flowers so far. We attached the flowers to sticks wrapped in florists tape, added construction paper sepals and either q-tip ends dipped in dye or curled up pieces of pipe cleaner for the centers using a low temp glue gun. They are quite bright and pretty!

This was a very creative product and we had a great time decorating the stencils then letting the color "grow". Easy to use and plenty of "flowers" to choose from, plus plenty leftover for several future playtimes. Even took one home to "plant" at our house. My granddaughter is a sharp 5 year old and this was perfect for her age. I had it sent to her house before I showed up so we would have it to play with once I arrived for a visit. I highly recommend this craft box as an activity to bond with your child or grandchild, or give it as a gift for a student or neighborhood child in need.

My family was gifted one box & we loved it so much, I bought a second one! We had so much fun & it is so easy, even for a three year old! I also loved the fact that both girls & boys (and one young man) in my extended family really enjoyed this craft.

I did this project with my granddaughters over a 2 day weekend (ages 4 and 7) and they absolutely loved it! It was worth every penny I spent! I will probably buy this again for gifts. There are so many different options to create. They ended up creating a bouquet to surprise their parents for their wedding anniversary. A few things to note: When desiring a 2 colored flower, have the second color ready and only allow the stem in the first jar for a few seconds before placing it in the second color. The liquid climbs the stem very rapidly. Allow the flowers to sit in the liquid at least 2-3 hours. They will continue to change. The enclosed markers when applied to the flowers will be carried to the tips of the flowers (by the colored water) for a beautiful effect along the edges. The white wax crayon made for a nice design as well. We removed our wicking stems when we were happy with how the flower looked (tossed those), and allowed the flowers to dry on a green straw stuck into a box with holes. They take several hours to dry (even overnight). Then we hot glued the flower (well, Mimi did that part for safety reasons) to the straw and added some green curing ribbon. The girls were so proud of their designs! This was a win, win in my opinion! A hair dryer with a diffuser will help the drying process if needed. We did talk about why the water molecules moved up the straw, but as others mentioned, an explanation for this would have been a nice enclosure. Not everyone understands the science behind it and kids want to learn! BUY THIS! You won't regret it.
