great belt...
this is a great SI belt.. very nice compared to allot of the others, this seems like the nicest one out of all of them i have seen so far..first the sizing.. my hips are right about 34 inches if i pull the tape tight, if i leave it loose they measure 35 inches so i did not know what size to order, i got a small and a medium to try out.. the small fits quite well and if my hips were a little bigger than they are it would still fit me just fine. there is some the medium also fits me but the small seems like a much better fit over all.i am not 100% sure if i have a bad SI joint or not but all of my back problems point to that being the issue.. i have been wearing this for just a few days and i would say its helping. the doctor and the physical therapy people say they are not sure what my issue is but it sounds like a si joint to me.... I tighten the belt so its just snug around my hip area, not tight, just snug, position it correctly and than pull the tension straps and i can really feel it supporting my lower back in the SI joint area.. my muscles in that area along the sides of my tail bone are often knotted up and inflamed and i have lower back pain... i seem to have less back pain when wearing this correctly.. when those muscles completely spasum up and my hip and glues do the same which happens every now and again. ill be in bed for a week and than for several months after my back is in poor shape, than it slowly gets better but always feels irritated and i got to be careful what i do.. and than its just irritated and annoying till it goes out again..i was reading the proper way to war it and i read allot of people want to crank these down really tight and that actually does not help.. that is what i tried to do at fist and i was getting some sharp pains in my hips from it.. after i learned to just snug it up and not crank it down and i got it in the right position i would say its helping.. the belt is madee to add support and stability to the area and you do not need to crank it down, i guess a little pressure works just fine and i find that to be true. it was hard to find good info on exactly how to use these and how tight to have them..i found one article that actually seemed to know what it was talking about and there was a video attached by a physical therapist talking about it as well, i tried what they said which is do not crank it down, it takes less pressure than you may think to work, that its made for support and stability of that si joint area and wearing it really tight does not actually work correctly and i am going to say that is correct. you want it to feel like its giving you support, not clamping down on your hips and lower back.. and for me that seems to be the way that the belt is helping.. or at least it seems to be helping.. i do feel like i have a over all less back irritation when i am wearing it..i would say its a great product at a good price and nicer than some of the more expensive belts for sure..wearing it over my pants is not how i like to do it, its hard to get into your pockets when the belt is on. so get some boxer shorts or boxer briefs and wear it under your pants, i would not want it touching my skin since that material would cauase you to sweat really bad.. so your underwear should be covering the area where you wear this.. but i feel is more comfy and convenient under my pants than worn over my pants..

Fantastic.
This belt has really helped my SI-joint pain! I was desperate to try anything after exercises, chiropractic, and massage weren't working. Even an SI-joint injection after a doctor's visit at the hospital failed to provide lasting relief. No none seemed to know why it was so painful... I'm not sure they even believed me. I had just about given up (even thought about a cane at age 40) until I found a mention of an SI-joint belt somewhere online. The belt helped some right away and improved over the next few days, so much so that I said "I'm tired of wearing that uncomfortable belt" and went a day without. Two days later I was in pain and grudgingly put the belt on again. Two weeks later, I now GRATEFULLY wear the belt most of the day, forget it is on (it now just feels like my pants are comfortably snug at the waist), and feel much more stable. It is easy to adjust, very comfortable to wear over a pair of boxers, and I even sometimes wear it against my skin with no issues...very, very comfortable even in the summer. I have much less pain (sometimes none), and have resumed even most of my strenuous activities like yard work and exerciseWithout the belt (I do go a few hours a day in the evening or after a shower without) I feel like the painful side of my hips moves a lot more than the other and that leg feels shorter. With the belt, the problem goes away almost entirely though I sometimes notice a little difference. I do find it is important to strengthen, stretch, and massage my legs and hips (even with the belt). Common sense really when you have pain,.. plenty of good stuff on YouTube for Si-joint and sciatica. My recommendation on size, is if you are on the edge of the sizes, go one down...tighter is more stable. I am a 6'2, 190 lb. male with a 36-in waist/40-in hips who ordered a large but for the first time in my life needed something in a medium. The large was not snug, the medium is perfect. I have no experience with any other belt, so I can't compare, but this belt is perfect and the price is right. The GNR logo was a concern when I was comparing, but is not something I think about since I wear it under my pants. I will be buying this one again if or when I need another one.

Works good, but be sure to go a size down.
This band really works well as long as you get the correct size. I purchased this belt because I have used a similar one during physical therapy and it really helped the pain. Before ordering I took my measurements and compared to the sizing chart and I purchased a medium. The medium was about 2-3 inches too big, and every inch counts for the pain relief. So if you purchase this belt, if you’re on the cusp of a size, go down a size, as this belt seems to run big, at least it did for me. When I took it to my PT facility they really liked the belt and said it was a great deal because most of these belts cost upwards of $50. Therefore, I recommend this belt because of the price; the quality of the belt was similar to the $50 one I used during PT, except this one has a silver metal clasp that you feed the belt through. Even though it was a bit too big, I still wore it as it helped and helped align my body better than if I wasn’t wearing one. If you suffer from SI pain, give this band/belt a try.
