I purchased these LEDs to upgrade the light boxes I use to start my seedlings indoors. I was previously using 8W T5 fluorescent bulbs and they worked very well, but these LED fixtures have proven even better so far. The attached picture shows both the new and old 40W light boxes side by side, on the left and right respectively.LED benefits:- Can illuminate roughly double the surface area with the same light density- Run significantly cooler- Are lighter and easier to handle- Cost significantly less than fluorescent fixturesSo far the plants have done really well under these lights, and I expect them to provide sufficient lighting until the plants are transitioned outdoors in another month or so.Yet to be seen is how long these LEDs last. While the fluorescent fixtures are more expensive, the bulbs last 3 seasons or more and are very cheap to replace. Once these LED fixtures die, there's nothing to do but throw them away, and I hate to be wasteful.I will try to update this review if longevity or effectiveness prove to be an issue, but so far these LEDs have excelled as grow lights.***UPDATE MARCH 2025***I’m now on my 7th season using these lights and they’re still going strong. No issues at all, I even expanded my setup and bought another set. I’m very impressed with their longevity and my seedlings always end up happy and strong.

I have 8 2ft 6000k in my indoor greenhouse. this is my first year of growing anything and my seedlings look amazing with these lights great for indoor veggie growing. my green house is 4 tier and I have 2 lights for each shelf.... working perfectly.

I purchased these lights for a garage renovation to light a 14-foot workbench. They turned out to be an excellent choice with lots of flexibility for connecting one to another and for multiple applications. They are very bright @6000K and were easy to install. They are also a good option for the price.

The lights are lightweight, easy to install and bright. However, 2 qty. 3 ft. lights have stopped working in less than 6 months of use. Difficult to get a replacement under the advertised 3 year warranty, you have to jump through a lot of hoops and will need all the stickers on the light so save them if you peel them off during installation. UPDATE: Kihung resolved the issue adequately.

Great product that offers several options from direct wiring into existing electrical supply to plugging in with cord that has switch. Can also string multiple together using supplied cords. I required all options for installation replacing fluorescent lights in a friend’s home. Loved the easy mounting clips for installation on drywall. Great value!

Excellent lights, very bright, was able to split them into two sets and light two separate areas. Super easy, came with plenty of connectors to connect all lights together if needed. Totally worth the money. Better than three other sets of lights I've tried.

For those living in the north trying to keep succulents alive during winter, these are perfect for the price and value. I ziptie them to metal shelving a few inches above the plants, and it's enough to keep them lightly sun stressed and out of dormancy all winter long. I've even had a few flower for me indoors using these. Plus the added brightness is really helpful to have during long winters. They don't use up too much electricity and are incredibly easy to use. Even if I stopped my succulent hobby, I would still buy and use these around the house. They're great under cabinets, for seeing small crafts in detail, and adding brightness to areas that are otherwise dim. Highest recommendations.
