Well-balanced, Value Plate
So, we bought a pair of these and a pair of the 10lbs CAP bumper plates. If you are lifting in your own home/garage gym, these are absolutely perfect. They are tough, they look great and they have a steel insert so they slide on an off easily.I have read quite a few negative statements about these weights, but nearly all of them were due to the "rubber smell," or that they came with an inventory sticker on them. These weights are rubber, and therefore will smell like rubber, but the smell is nothing, and goes away in a day or two. Also, they are weights for weightlifting, not a Senstsy candle. As far as the sticker, who GAS? It will eventually wear off due to crushing Gainzezes.I am going to purchase some 35s and 45s as well. For a garage gym? Yeah, these are the best. I have had them for a few months and used them 3-5 times per week for gainzezes, and they are holding up well.

Cheap plates weight the same as good places. Buy a nice barbell and cheap plates!
I purchased these when the price was under $50 and would not buy them at the current price of $90. Only being able to order one is a pain in the butt, but asking a few friends to order for you can help you to get enough for your home weight set. These things smell like cheap Chinese rubber, but they do their job. I should probably check how much they way to see if they are accurate, but they feel accurate. They are not as nice as Rogue places, but they fit the bar well, seem fairly well constructed and are much cheaper in price. These cost less than just shipping from Rogue. Don't skimp on your barbell, but these plates will work. They are a bit thick, so you probably can't get much more than 405 lbs (4 plates each side) on a standard Olympic barbell, but I'm not lifting that heavy yet, so it works perfectly.Other CAP items I've bought have been on the verge of junk, but these are good for what they are.

Strong
These have been faithfully serving me for about 6 months now. They are durable and trustworthy. I'm not made of money so the conversion to bumper plates has been on the back burner for a minute now, that said these are certainly fairly priced and can take a beating which is important when you're doing your own thing on a budget. I use these for olympic lifts of course, and other cross training style exercises associated with less weight, but I also use these for heavy deadlifts. I put them on the bar first as they are a bit taller than my standard iron 45s, so they actually double as a dead wedge, making the weight loading and off loading process much easier. I bring this up though to emphasize their durability. If I'm repping 345 lbs. on the deadlift the entire impact of the bottom of that movement is pretty much entirely on these two 25 lbs. bumper plates, and they haven't shown any sign of wear yet! Thought that might be worth mentioning. Thanks!

Awesome plates!!!!!!
I bought a few of these right before everything shut down due to the virus and I'm glad I did. I have plates from Rogue, Hulkfit and Titan and these work just as good. I can say for the price I am very happy with this purchase they are great for being the first plate on my trap, dead lift and clean and jerk bars. I just add my cast weights to the bars after the bumper plates. Overall solid performer and for the ones that complain about cosmetic issues, " They are weights what do you want pretty shiny and perfect matching colors?" My workouts and muscles don't care what it looks like as long as I'm getting the desired effect I'm happy! You can't go wrong with 45"s.

What good is only one
This is a quality product. The only problem is it is NOT SOLD AS A SET!!!! REALLY????Every other company sells them in pairs....What good is only one? The selling info is not clear that it is only one bumper...When I looked to order a second one 7 days later the price went up over $10.00!!!I will not be purchasing any "CAP Barbell" products ever again EVER!!!

Really good for the money.
They're really good for the money, feel better quality than I expected. More than enough quality for my home gym.None of the negative reviews here actually have anything negative to say about the product, all the negatives are about shipping or some confusion about whether they were receiving a single or a pair. The product is good, make sure you read the description. One person says buy Rogue instead... they might be a bit higher quality, but cost about double, maybe more. One person doesn't understand why the 25lb bumper is bigger than regular 25lb plates... it's because they're bumpers, and you want them all the same diameter.
