Traditional Archery Hunting Handmade Recurve Bow Mongolian Horse Longbow (Bows)

Beautiful bow and shoots really good with flu flu arrows for me... the bow is 46.5 lb draw at 28" and at 31" draw it is 52.5 lb draw and shoots really nice. I like this bow a lot.... sold as fifty pound bow and close at 28" but the stuff to measure draw weight can be inaccurate depending on a lot of variables. I like this bow a lot... been practicing with it this past weekend and will leave the string on for four days so the string stretches and then over time will see how it handles but I do think it will be an excellent bow because I have another bow similar to this that has lasted for a very long time... worth the price I paid.

The build quality of this bow actually exceeds what your paying for. It's a beautiful bow works flawlessly I love it. But it's advertised as a 50lb draw weight at 28-29 inches, it even has 50lbs written on the siya and my draw length is 31 inches so I'm drawing passed the advertised draw length and I'm barely reaching 40lbs on my draw I have to draw Manchurian style 36" to get it to reach 50lbs but no where makes arrows that long so it's pointless. So in summary, great build quality for the price, total wrong draw weight than advertised.

The bow was laid in a thin empty box and came warped. Warp is so bad, I fear the horn will break off if I attempt to draw at full length. Just glad I noticed before it ended in an emergency room trip. Replacement was easy to order, seems like good craftsmanship for the price just hope it's packaged better this time.UPDATE:Great craftsmanship for the price and would definitely suggest to anyone. It managed to make it here undamaged despite being packed just as poorly as the first time. Better packaging and this is a easily a 5 star bow.UPDATE 2:Bow is still in good condition, a couple hundred arrows down range at this points and still holding strong. Grip could use a bit more girth but I have large hands.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my adult daughter, who is big into archery and midevil/fantasy festivals. It's beautiful and very functional; this is not a toy! I paired it with nice bamboo shafted arrows and she absolutely loves it!

For the price this is a cheap Mongolian-style bow. Like most bows of this type it has artificial limbs (to be expected). It is a stout pull; it lives up to its 50 lb draw claim. But a paracord bow string? No no no no. (See one of the other customer's review photos).There are no "string aligners" on the siyah's (bow tips), so nothing to damper or quiet the recoil on the release. The handle is straight rather than tapered, so aim will have to be compensated for severe left arrow flight. I won't say don't buy this bow. I'll say buy it if 1) You want a Mongolian style 2) You're really short on cash and don't want to save up for another month or two and get a good bow 3) You want a 50 lb bow (that's quite a heavy draw) or a wall-hanger (it will do nicely as a decorative piece).Other than that, the bow seems well made and is offered at a reasonably low price. If you go in with both eyes open, you'll get what you intended to buy. : )

It’s cute and functional but fractured in less than 2weeks of use, proper care was taken, I baby all my bows. It came pre-strung on a long paracord with a shorter bowstring in a bag, instead of securely wrapped unstrung, and that was all I needed to see to know it wouldn’t last long.If you’re looking for like a cheap cosplay bow to make over, sure. But the longevity is short for frequent use.
