The reviews are right, these are the lightest bookends I've ever seen. But fortunately for me, they still work. They are holding up my books and look great.

Good book ends do to things. First, they hold up the books. These bookends do that perfectly. Second, they dress up your shelf. These bookends look great and will add a touch of class to any shelf.

They are light just like the other reviews say and aren't really any good for providing much support, but if you balance the books just right, they sure do look cool.

These are really pretty and really cool. They're holding a bunch of my books and making it look cool. I almost feel bad for Atlas...it is more the weight of my books than the weight of that sphere on his back that hurts him. Theyre pretty useful for books that are not much taller than the book ends themselves, as if you use taller books, it can push the book ends out, as they arent that heavy. Also not good on really smooth surfaces (because 1) theyre light, and 2) they slide easily with weight on them). This is a good product if you wanna show off classy stuff but dont wanna pay the classy prices. Sometimes when I have a hard week of work, I look at these guys and Im all like "I totes get it guys, I feel the same way." Actually, Ive never spoken to them.
