And they are just as assured that they are right about who they vote for too!Anyway, back to the batteries. For the correct application, these are going to last 9 times as long. For the wrong application, they aren't going to do any better and they cost a lot. Make sure you use them for the correct application. These are especially known for and advertised as "digital camera" batteries, where they excel and last about 6x as long as typical Alkaline batteries. They are not rechargeable. They are lightweight because Lithium is one of the lighter elements. Decent price, considering how expensive these are. They are the longest lasting batteries that I know of.

These are the ONLY batteries that I will use in my camera. They last & last.

Tried both NiMH rechargable, and better-quality disposable batteries in the deep freeze temperature monitors; both failed after a few days. These disposable lithium batteries still show 100% after several weeks. The monitors were placed after a door was left ajar and we lost some food, and the monitors need to stay powered below 0°F.

These AAA lithium-iron batteries are usually rather costly at retail stores, but I stocked up with one of these 20-packs and saved a bundle. These batteries have a shelf life of over 10 years, so you need not worry about them going bad before you use them.The product picture isn't exactly right. The package is 10 batteries wide and 2 batteries deep, which is actually more convenient for storage that a 20-battery-wide package would have been!They work great in remote controls and most other devices I've tried. The big exception is LED flashlights; these have a slightly higher voltage than alkaline batteries that can burn out some flashlight LEDs. (They work fine in older incandescent-bulb flashlights though.) Also some devices with LCD screens may be too dark to read if you use these batteries; but those are rare exceptions.

With all the changes being made to alkaline batteries to make them ecologically correct they simply do not last or work well anymore. Alkaline leak quickly and do not last regardless of the brand. If you put Alkaline batteries in the Energizer Bunny don't be surprised to find a big wet spot under it. Energizer Lithium work well in hot and cold conditions, and I've yet to have one leak and ruin the product I'm using it in. They last for a year or more with regular use. When you consider the cost and performance difference its really is no longer worth buying Alkaline batteries. Oh yeah... no wet spot!

These are much better than almost any other type of battery. They last longer in my devices. I have never had one go bad from extended storage. If you buy a big pack of these, you can get the price per battery down to an affordable level.
