Certified Organic Yacon Syrup - 11.5 Oz.

I thought this was organic, so maybe that's my fault. Surprised by the lack of nutritional info on the label though... I have to keep the sugars way low, and since this is not the same as my current organic bottle, I have no way of knowing what the sugar content is.

I discovered yacon syrup fairly recently, when I decided to see what a better diet could do to help reduce my chronic migraines. As a dedicated chocoholic with backups for my sweet tooth, cutting the carbohydrates was beyond difficult, and I needed to find a good, natural sugar replacement, immediately. At first, I just went for the lowest prices, then found this one because it contains more than most. So far, this has been the best tasting for me, overall. I thought, at first, like another reviewer, this was just watered down, but after making iced tea and no-bake cheesecake with it, I found it actually sweetens my foods better than any other I've tried, and lasted longer, because I could use less, ounce for ounce, than any other brands I've tried. I recently ordered the liter bottle, and I find it has a much stronger molasses profile, which is to be expected, since it's less filtered than the smaller ones. Since the heartier version still complements chocolate very well, I don't mind, but this is the one I would recommend for recipes with a more delicate flavor.

I love this stuff but honestly the price is ridiculous. It was $15, amazon takes it over it goes up and up to almost $40 for a little over 11 oz. I am not spending that on a sweetner. Upsetting really.

This syrup was good. I only was disappointed it was not organic. I am at fault for assuming it was, because when I purchased this brand before, it was.

So i eat keto and use yacon syrup consistently in my cooking. I tried this brand for the first time and it is markedly different from all the other brands I've used. The consistency is very runny and watered down, and the taste has a very strong and strange aftertaste. It also says on the bottle that it needs to be refrigerated after opening, which no other yacon syrup has stated. I will not order this brand again. It did come quickly and well packaged. It IS CERTIFIED ORGANIC AND KOSHER AND HAS NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE BOTTLE. So when you add in shipping, i just spent almost $20 for something I can't bring myself to use in any of my recipes...

I love this syrup. It's a MUCH lower glycemic index than any other sweetener and is fantastic in flavor.

Another great shopping experience with Amazon. This is a great low glycemic sweetener with lots a versatility.

I've tried several different brands of Yacon Syrup in the past year. For taste and consistency, this is the least desirable. Unpleasant aftertaste, seems a bit thin or watered down. Really seems inferior. I won't buy this brand again
