Compact and quick!
Absolutely love this digital kitchen scale! It’s sleek, compact, and incredibly accurate. I use it daily for meal prep and baking, and it makes portioning ingredients so much easier. The display is clear and easy to read, and switching between units (grams, ounces, pounds) is quick and seamless. Plus, it's super easy to clean, which is a huge bonus. Overall, a fantastic tool that’s both practical and reliable. Highly recommend!

Inexpensive And Good Accuracy
UPDATE: I thought this scale was slightly "off" in its precision, but after more use, I think it's actually quite precise. I've updated my review to 5 stars.I have and love my Escali scale, but this is a good, inexpensive backup. It is mostly plastic and doesn't feel as substantial as an Escali, but it's fine. When it arrived, I tested its measurements against both an older scale and a new Escali. This Ozeri was slightly off in every test -- I tested very light, medium, heavy items and the tare function. Not a huge difference -- the weight was off by about 2 100ths of an ounce (sometimes it weighed a little more, sometimes a little less). That's a very, very small difference and, upon more use, I now realize it's more accurate than I initially thought. The instructions do remind you that the item must be in the center of the scale (and it does weigh a little more "off" when the item is off center). After more use, I now believe this and the Escali are equal in their weighing precision. But, it does feel less substantial and more cheaply made compared to the Escali. I still have my 17-year-old Escali that continues to work well. I don't expect this Ozeri to last 17 years, but it's a great value (half the price of the Escali) and works well and it is very precise in its weighing -- and that's the main thing.

Have had for years...very reliable
We've had this scale for years. It's worked perfectly for us and has been very reliable. It's easy to use, has a really long battery life, and auto shut off too. I would definitely buy Ozeri brand again. I highly recommend it.

Perfect scale!
I used this scale for a variety of reasons (cooking and shipping) and it is always accurate! My last one lasted me years before the batteries corroded the inside and made it no longer work. So I was happy I could buy an exact replacement. I still find it to be accurate and my weights/measurements have never been off. I also appreciate the ease of use and the ability to level it out.

Not As Sturdy As Their Last Release
What's Most Important:• Works well, is accurate.• Easily cleaned, buttons are flat and covered so they can't get dirt in them.• The buttons are easily accessible even with a larger bowl on top.• Replace the battery that comes with it and it lasts a long timeDisappointed:I noticed it's not as sturdy. It feels more light plasticy than their last release. Looks the same, but feels different.I got this because I loved my mom's scale. I tested them side-by-side. Works the same, looks the same, this one just feels cheaper\lighter.

Great value!
I wanted a food scale to help me better understand my portion sizes (what does 3oz of fish actually look like??) I looked at more expensive scales but settled on this.I am very happy with this scale! It is simple, but effective. I just put a plate on the scale, press the "tare" button to set the scale to zero and then put on the food that I want to weigh. It also has a button that can change between units of measurement. That's all there is, but that's all I need! It tucks away in a kitchen drawer when not in use, but is attractive enough to sit out on the counter if you wanted to do that.I recommend trying this one before you buy something more expensive. The only potential con is that it runs on a battery. I have no idea how long the battery will last.

I use it more than I had imagined
Like many people during the pandemic, I started baking a lot more. I have a mechanical scale but it is better suited to pounds or kilos. I wanted something that would accurately measure in ounces or grams. I might have drooled a little over more expensive digital scales recommended by America's Test Kitchen but my budget wouldn't allow it. (I think this got a good mention somewhere in their equipment reviews but I can't find it right now.) Probably for the best, though, because I am really happy with this one. Bonus: it fits in my small kitchen. The display is easy to read, easy to tare, and and easy to change measurements. It "settles" on the weight within a few seconds. I don't have a way to test its accuracy but my baked goods turn out out right. I've been using this scale for more than I thought I would... splitting up value packs of ground beef into 4 ounce patties, portioning frozen fruit for smoothies, and of course, accurately measuring flour and water for the ubiquitous sourdough starter. It also wipes clean very easily. Now I'm trying those recipes that call for ingredients by weight! I've had this scale for a few months now and I'm very happy I bought it.
