Woodlink Wood Bird Feeder with 2 Suet Cages, 5 lb. Capacity

This item is well built and it is the second one we have purchased.

I’ll review again in a year to update you on how it lasts & how the birds like it, but I like it so far. Real wood (unlike other brands that use fake stuff that falls apart fast), hanger is good metal (unlike other brands with rope), has good deck screws, & looks to be a good sturdy design. Holds 4 pounds of dry food and 2 suets well.It was easy to take apart to paint it & easy to put back together as long as you kept and reused the little staples that hold the suet containers in place. We wanted it to look like a mini version of our house :)Bought an eye bolt and “s” hook to hang it. Just put it up tonight outside our dining room window on our detached garage! So excited.Hoping to see chickadees, nuthatches, woodpeckers, and a few other Alaskan birds 😍

This is a great bird feeder, nice and sturdy, east access for seeds to fill it up, nice wide ledge for birds to land on. Only thing that I find that needs fixing for future feeders are the suet cages.... I just put a suet in one of the cages to see how it would go... There is not enough height on the roof of the feeder for the suet to go into cage with ease. I had to force my cake of suet past the edges of the roof for it to drop into the cage.....I think it is a great product and worth the value paid for.... Just needs a slight adjustment in the design for the suet cages to be great also.... Thank for listening.....

I have purchased these in the past and they are well made. The wood is good quality. They are really easy to fill with the lift up lid!! The exception this time is the suet holders (reason for a 4 star rating). These are slightly smaller now so they will not hold a cake of suet. You have to break it in half. Disappointing. My other comment would be that I wish they could use a heavier grade wire for hanging. I do have large birds and squirrels so the first thing to go is the wire. The swinging motion and weight of the critters eventually snaps the wire which is not easily replaced.

I purchased two of these bird feeders. You can find a similar version in the stores, however, they are MUCH smaller than this one. I purchased one for myself and one for my dad and we were both very surprised and felt it was much larger than we expected. The birds have been using them for several months now and like them. They have no issues getting their seeds from underneath the center component. It is very easy to fill. I would purchase this again.P.S. This bird feeder has brought my elderly dad so much joy! He goes outside every day to watch his birds. That is worth its weight in gold :)

Came fast and looks sturdy, I get snow and wind so we will see if it survives. had to put solid wire mesh under it to give the woodpeckers and the bigger birds something to hang on to so they could get the suet but the base was nice and thick so it could be attached to the pole, I liked it and the price.

Upon arrival, the roof where the hinges attach was broken. Had to glue and clamp. Wouldn't want to give it as a gift. One of the reasons for purchasing this item was the fact that is is supposed to be made in the USA. It is not. The info card that came with the feeder says plainly: MADE IN CHINAThat said, it is attractive enough and will surely last a few reasons. I'll update the review if, for some reason, the birds don't like it.

I had one of these for years. I really enjoy the duel duet baskets and central hopper. I use it primarily to attract cardinals. I use shell free feed and hot pepper suet. Keeps things tidy and because it hangs on a pulley no squirrels. Very happy. I had my last model of this feeder for almost 20 years. I’m hoping for another long run. It seems well made and only the roof is different it now looks like faux shingles. It comes fully assembled and ready to use.
