Seals well. Will thicken neat cement for sanitary seal
I used this for my sanitary seal (casing grout) on a water well. Mixed 6% by weight with Portland 'neat' cement. Your local regulations will show you how much to use by code. If you use too much it may weaken the cement and too little won't make a stickie waterproof seal.

Fixed leaking pond
I have a fresh water pond that was leaking around the stand pipe. We layered dirt. Benseal, repeatedly & it worked great

I guess it works...
I have used several bags but my pond still leaks but I don't know if is the fault of this as others use it and it works. I tend to think it's my liner although they are new.

No too good
I bought this bentonite follow the instructions, because is a leak in my pond, a few days later a storm came and pon got couple inches hi, after a week the water in the pond got low again this time 1 foot lower.I don't think so works, is too much money to trow in the water for nothig. 👎👎👎

it worked!
I had a football size hole in my spring fed pond that was draining water as fast as it was entering. I covered the hole with a 5'x5' patch of Bentonite mixed with soil and it worked perfectly. Amazing result and an easy fix!
