Excellent jacket and an excellent value.
First, I am 6-02 and about 215. Even though I did not really "need" a jacket, there was a promotion, so I bought a size XL in silver. First of all, this is a very impressive jacket, easily comparing with $200 jackets I have bought from "big names." The Cordura is thick and substantial. It has a very good heft to it, weighing over 4 pounds with the liner. It is well-stitched and fits generously like an XL should, so if you have a middle aged middle, it will accommodate you nicely. It has several zip-open vents to help on hotter days, as long as you remove the quilted liner for full air flow. There are two chest vents, two upper arm vents and a horizontal vent across the upper back. The vents have a mesh screen keeping high speed insects out. The Velcro collar and cuff straps have rubber pull tabs on them, which is a feature of higher-priced jackets. The arms have one tab and one strap each side to take up up slack in the arms, and prevent wind flapping. The armor is the standard CE-1 level, and stays in place. CE-2 is an easy upgrade, if you wish. The waist is adjustable and allows for you to later in cold weather or snug it up a bit on warm weather. I normally wear a 35" sleeve and this jacket extends well out to my wrists. The reflective details are nice to have for those who ride at night. The hem of the jacket is lengthened in back, so that there is no gap between jacket and pants if your riding position leans slightly forward. The zipper are high quality and zip smoothly. It has a quilted full-sleeve zip-out liner which I have found to be pretty warm, but it's May, so I cannot give a winter report. With the insulated liner zipped out, it has a mesh liner sewn inside, so that it will breathe freely in summer with the vents opened. I cannot find a fault with this jacket. Highly recommended.

Great value and quality.
This is my second one of these. Love them. Well made. Lots of air vent openings and storage areas. Great price. I find myself wearing this jacket more often than my $400 jacket.

Too big?
So this will be my very first safety jacket. I recently bought a 28 MPH max speed e scooter and figured I should be responsible and get some gear. I'm 5'11" and 250 lbs. I am definitely overweight but I do gym so I don't have a huge gut or anything, my chest is definitely bigger than my waist so maybe that puts me in an awkward spot for sizing... Anyways I bought the XL but I am absolutely SWIMMING in this thing. The sleeves go down to my knuckles and I got so much room inside this jacket I could put on probably 2 hoodies under it. I always feel guilty for doing a return when I get a wrong size but the product is otherwise good but I'll have to for this even though I followed their sizing guide. I'm gonna re-order a large and hopefully it will work out better. As this is my first time I'm not even sure if these are supposed to run larger for safety reasons or not? Oh well. I will say the jacket looks nice and feels high quality - I'm only docking a star because it just seems waaaay too big despite being 'properly sized' for me.

Very nice.
I’m new to ride an adventure bikes, but not motorcycles in general for the money you can’t beat this gear when I put it on I feel like it would be safe in a slide

These jackets are much nicer than expected
I am pleasantly surprised with the quality and the look of these jackets. They are much nicer than I expected them to be.

Nice jacket for the price.
This is a really nice motorcycle jacket for the price. The fit is true to size. It's got a liner for those cooler mornings but it does take a little work to take the liner in/our of the jacket. The one think that you do notice is the color. In the description it shows the 1st jacket as being silver, but when I took it out of the plastic package the jacket is actually tan/off white in color. It will look good with my black cherry Honda Goldwing. It's kind of a universal color for all different colors of motorcycles.

Expect what you would from an inexpensive jacket
Yeah, I left a five star review but that doesn't mean I didn't have issues.Out of the box, the pads were all folded over, making it almost unbearable to wear. After removing the pads and letting them sit flat under some weight, they have returned to the correct shape. However, the pockets they slide into cause them to curl a little (I believe intentionally). This was nothing to be upset over.Next, the size and straps. I am a small, 5'5" human, I can fit into children's large shirts, so I expect things to be big on me. The sleeves are at least 4" longer than my arms, though. Fingers outstretched, not visible out the sleeves. I'm having those tailored which will eliminate the straps on the ends. Next, I went to strap the sleeves, and while pulling the velcro into position, the whole strap came off the coat. My seamstress is reattaching those for me as well. Lastly, the bottom, I can pull the straps far enough to cinch the waist, but the velcro barely touches and I'm sure it would come undone with movement.I intend to wear this jacket during the summer, so most of this isn't an issue; I'll fix what I can and accept what I can't because this was under $50. My reasoning for giving this a full five stars is that Hawk has been great at responding to my e-mails and making this situation right.Set your expectations at an inexpensive coat that you may have to have tailored. Altogether, I'll still be spending less than $100 on this, and if you're wanting more, I honestly suggest shopping in store so you can try them on, but expect to pay at least twice as much.
