This is a terrific item. Looks great at the end of a bookshelf.

I got this for an office Secret Santa and the recipient loved it. He used it in his office and it looks great and feels sturdy. I may get one for myself.

This was a gift for my son-in-law to put in his office as he is a super hero fan. He loved them! Only gave it four stars because they are a little flimsy. The rating features say lightweight, which in my opinion is not necessarily a good thing when it comes to book ends, so I am not sure why it is on there. Seems like sturdy would be a better feature for a book end, in which case I would give it 3 stars for sturdiness.

Beautiful, looks great holding up my books!

I could not get the Superman version to work properly.I wanted to use it to display some self published paperbacks, but it would not stay upright and the book at the end would crumple down. It needs to ship with some support for the books and more weight to on the extension

I was anxious that it would be damaged because it was shipped in a bag, but it was in great condition. It was sturdy and well-made and as clever as all get-out.

This bookend is exactly like the picture shows it. Very cute, and gets compliments from guests. We are happy. Your books lean over and don't fall over. The book closest to the running figures has the metal plate between the cover and body of the book. We store our birding books on a shelf between our dining room and living room with this bookend, and this has been the only issue: it's more of a hassle to remove the book near the figures than to remove a book from a normal bookshelf. So....pick a book you don't pull down often to use for the last book. We use all of our bird books often, so we encounter this. It's not a huge hassle - just a few extra seconds to retrieve the rightmost book, and we would definitely buy again and are loving the bookend.
